Misconfiguration error

My system is above the min requirements (intel dual core 2,5 ghz, 4 gb ram, geforce 9500, xp sp3).
When i try to start the game from the launcher nothing happens. Ok, i try to start from the /binaries with the .exe. Then an error comes: game cannot starts because of misconfiguration.
I searched the forum, but the solutions didnt work for me, because i havent downloaded the game. I went to a pc shop and bought it on DVDs. (so its not digital distributional)
I dont have any "EAAccessInstaller.exe" or "EACore_App.ini" file anywhere on my HDD.
Oh, and i installed the 1.02 patch (but tried also without it), and tried to reinstall (3 times - tried automatic and custom install too). And i also ran the configuration many times and tried out many variations...
I dont have any idea. What now?
Thx for help.

1) Virus software interfering with the install.
2) You game disk is bad and it has a bad sector/area of the disk or it just doesn't like your dvd drive.

Actually, Intel sells an entire range of very cheap processors called the "Pentium Duls" that are so bad, they are worse than the old single core P4 Pentiums, unless overclocked (and they do take massive overclocks, if equipped with a proper MB and cooler). Those are all below the very minimum that can barely run this game. The Geforce 9500 is quite elderly now, being a reisssue of the Geforce 8600 GT from five years ago, but it should be somewhat above minimum.Csuklyas wrote...

Refer to Pacifien's description of problem reporting to be sure of including what is required.

2) I dont know how can my disc bad, when the install completes without a problem.
My CPU is Intel E5200. I think its not that "pentium dulls" you talked about.
By the way, Mass Effect 1 runs smooth on this config. (The 2 game have quite the same system req if i know right.)
So my pc is:
Motherboard: ASUS P5P41D
CPU: Intel E5200
RAM: 4 GB DDR2
Video: NVIDIA GEFORCE 9500 GT (512 MB)
DirectX: 9.0c
Windows Xp Sp3
..and thaks for help

Don't know if it will help, because I think that was for a downloaded version, but heck can't hurt to look.
IF it happens to work, thank Gorath for digging the thread up over in DA:O tech support.

Which drivers are you using for the graphics card? And did you try downloading the latest version of directx9 and installing it?

I have an idea. If i bought my mass effect, i have my own cd key. Maybe i can download it and then i'll have the same problems as the digital distribution owners?

The link I gave, was basically one to see if you can do what it says and does it help....but if you want to dl it go right ahead, Origin allows you to enter your key and dl any game you own of EA basically.
