I give up!!!!!!!

Got a brand new pc, specs are:
GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD9 mobo
Core i7 980X
Corsair Dominator GT 2000C8
Nvidia GTX 560 TI
Win 7
As of posting this all my drivers are up to date(just downloaded and installed)
I have 3 ME Games 2 classic and one normal, installed and ran the normal one. NOTHING CAN'T EVEN FINISH EDEN PRIME!!!!!!

on my old crappy pc managed to complete one play-through.  Both of the classics are just as bad.  the problem is the whole game just locks up and the only way to end it is to hold in the power button.

Yes the game is patched and yes the case is well cooled.

so please please help.

BTW are there any sites where i can get cleared saves???

Your drivers are no good. nVIDIA starts ignoring games as soon as they are about a year old, so you need the 256 / 258 drivers, which were the last ones they released that still worked with this game.

ME works fine with the 275.33's, though the newest and latest nvidia drivers 280.xx are complete, total freaking crap and should be revoked. Massive problems across all windows versions, games, apps, and so on causing crashes, lockups and TDR's.
