the only moment in mass effect I can think of that makes no sense to me is when you're on board the collector ship and your squad mates are all like "they're going to target Earth". that doesn't fit the collector's profile at all and even though there ship is powerful it could still be taken out quite easily if of the ship after Earth makes no sense in the narrative.

Jenkins is hardly an experienced soldier. Did you take any time to talk to him/Chakwas before Eden Prime? Kid's all nervous, over-excited and itching to see some real action like any ****** FNG.

And he doesn't just run ahead like an idiot... Shepard gave the squad orders to move up, you know, with the little hand gestures...

(WTF, the place is swarming with Collectors and Shepard is standing before you rescuing them. Thanks for giving me the chance to explain or show anything but a stupid leap of logic BW needs to force the plot the way they want.

... Honestly, I cannot believe BW could proof read that and not realise how monumentally stupid that dialogue was and by reflection examine just what they were doing in ME2.

The stupidity required for that dialgoue is beyond belief from every character involved and should have either resulted in Kaiden / Ashley joining Shepard RIGHT THEN to 'INVESTIGATE CERBERUS'
or
Shepard turning around and telling TIM to get stuffed and throw in with the Alliance again.

Instead the Alliance has clear evidence of the Collectors and STILL blames Cerberus with Shepard guilty by association without any attempt to INVESTIGATE if Shepard is REALLY guilty.

The most messed up moment in the ME series is when you see the colonist/kelly (depending on how fast you were) get processed right in front of you.

Yeah you do. It's like 2 or 3 credits. Not much, but a set of clothing is enough to buy a quarterstaff.

"Why would the Collectors help the Reapers? They're just Protheans."
