Assumptions are assumptions. Did the base look like a Reaper or a giant bug hive... thing?
Indoctrination =/= Huskification

It's like executing a very dangerous criminal who can lead us to other very dangerous criminals just because he could escape.
Didn't Dr. Lecter help investigators with other fugitives when he himself was also a fugitive?

Another winner is Shepards "tempting, but taken too far" option on Jacobs LM. Hmm, so it is tempting for you to drug a bunch of women into becoming subservient sex slaves? Good to know you've always felt rapist urges Shepard. I suppose the "tempting" bit should have tipped me off.

He was joking. Shepard always makes off mood jokes that make everyone go "what did he say?". He's been doing it since Eden Prime (with those smugglers). If Im not mistaken, selecting that sentence makes Shepard say "can't say this wouldn't be a hell of a vacation". See, he has he's moments.

We still saw husks inside the CB and if they were making a reaper that means they had stuff that could lead to indoctrination.

I have to say, I wasn't sure what I had done until the camera zoomed out and Taylor stared at the ground, where I went "awwww, poor bastard, here alone forever" and then a guy comes out of nowhere and punches the guy in the face followed by a black screen and I went "HOLY ****!".

Shepard: "Not just any Reaper....a HUMAN Reaper!"
EDI: "Precisley."
Mac or whoever wrote those lines, go give yourself a good slap. You're making George Lucas' dialog writing look good.

As for wtf moments? Liara when you first met her on Illos. I have to say I was expecting huggles... not talk about body remains and coffee cups.

"Not just any reaper, a human reaper!". Together with the music, it actually sounds quite funny.
"blah blah blah ...reaper chow now." - the last two words of that sentence just sound weird together.
This too.Kaiser Shepard wrote...
"You're not even alive, not really... You're just a machine, and machines can be broken."
Oh, how I cringe every single time I hear that line.

[Edited] 1.) Fem-Shepards voice is terrible. Who the hell did they pick for the voice actress; a woman with down syndrom who lacked any and all emotions? She sounds like a fifty year old smoker with all sort of disorders! It should have been someone with more tallent...
Mass Effect 2
-------------------
1.) Ashley / Kaidan's random childish attitude on Horizon. Suggesting you are in a romance with them; they should be happier to see you and more inclined to believe in you instead of basically insulting you and calling you a failure. Not to mention they know of the Reapers first hand (Saren/Nazara) but instead they decide to point fingers at Cerberus and Shepard. Not only would this not make sense for someone who claimed they nearly killed themselves because they loved you so much but Kaidan wasn't an Alliance boot licker like Ashley was - so he (between the two of them) should have sided with you even faster than Ashley should have! Not to mention that Ashley "TECHNICALLY" cheated on you during your "death" (which neither of them realized that you can't make a fu**ing phone call from beyond the grave). So really their entire random immature personality switch made me quite furious...I wanted to kill them both in Mass Effect 1 after that...But then again it was probably the writers being stupid.
2.) Not being able to argue my point as a Paragon more. I didn't like how everyone made Shepard sound like a Lap-Dog for Cerberus but he didn't have a way to retort these accusations. Not to mention when you DID retort and stand up for yourself it gave you random Renegade points; why?...Hell I hate Cerberus but they are the only ones giving a damn (so it seemed); plus they might have shut my ship down or told Miri to kill me or some crap if I out-right bailed from the beginning. Either way I wanted more options in every way to stand up as a Paragon.
3.) The Arrival DLC: I liked it a lot but I didn't like that my Shepard was so frigging stupid in it. I could tell from the get-go that everyone had been twisted by the Reapers at that facility and Shepard should have known also! A Reaper artifact out in the open; I wanted to say ""Are you f**king kidding me?!?!?!"" but I had no option....
[Edited] 4.) Jacob; why the hell is he in the game...Forced Evolution anyone?
Mass Effect 3 Preview
------------------------------
1.) Everyone is suddenly gay because one group of people complained?
2.) Ashley looks like a Courtney Love knock off?...What the hell happened to her tom-boyish personality? Now shes a bisexual woman with make up caked on her face, wearing high heels and letting her hair magically grow out to super lengths between a few months of Alliance to Spectre work?...Really Bioware?...
3.) Why the hell is the VS a Spectre?..How actually...They screwed up Horizon and before that we had to (Shepard[s]) basically tell them what to do / cover their asses. Now that I think about it - they screwed up so much that they got someone killed for their ignorance!! Bad game design!
4.) Excessive Pandering to many many groups of people; not enough showcasing of the RPG elements of the game.

It is less keeping the collector base, and more giving it to Cerberus. If I had the option to give it to the alliance or council, I would consider it. Sadly, that is not an option. By the time I went to the alliance and convinced them of the giant reaper base in the core of the galaxy, TIM would have his grubby paws all over it. I would not put it past him to keep the alliance from even getting to it.
Don't like TIM. He is shifty... I swear he stole 5 credits from me...
That's the selling point. it's supposed to be a moral dilemma. Risk potential technology at the cost of giving it to Cerberus.

Good WTFs, stuff that has made me jump out my skin or pee my pants or just generally scream WHAT THE FECKING HELL IS THAT: Overlord DLC, which, admittedly, had me on edge the moment David starting popping up on monitors everywhere.
Husk infested ship in Mass Effect 1.. All is quiet, turn a corner, come face to face with 5 husks screaming bloody murder.
And uh... Bad WTFs, things that have made me stop and go "seriously, why am i still playing this" include:
#1Opening scene to ME2. Shepard dying killed everything in that game for me, and also killed any emotional connection to any main characters dying in future.
#2 The obvious Jacob Taylor line which i shall not repeat.
#3Oh and Horizon. Just in general. Made worse by the fact it reminded me Shepard was clinically dead, see #1 Bad WTF.
I could go on with bad WTFs... I won't, but i could.

1. Nobody is gay. Nobody is heterosexual. Nobody is bisexual. There is very little canon between characters. It's up to the PC to decide the sexual orientation and even the gameplay actions of any given character. They don't even have to bring Liara along in the first game, for example.
2. Ashley wore her hair in a bun in the first and second games. It being shoulder length in ME3 is correct.

1.) All Mass Effect 1 characters (with the exception of Liara) are Straight; its canon.
1.
1.c) If the characters were bisexual or gay there would have been subtle if not major hints through out the ""TWO GAMES"" that Bioware created. They had many years to decide ""HM..GAY OR NOT?"" but they only recently pushed the issue because of an ever growing trend that exists wheither or not you wish to admit this. I'm not hating but people got pissed and Bioware pandered. Funny thing - you won't see them pandering to the religious community though
2.) Ashley is a tom-boy; why does she look like a trailer trashed vegas tramp in ME3?....

Yeah,... that section was by far the most confusing and surprising for me. Back then, during my 1st playthrough, I was really confused about what was going on, where was Shepard and why did I have to control Joker.
Retrospectively, I understand that it was most likely supposed to be a really surprising moment which had to entangle and complicate otherwise quite cliche scenario... but still I wish we had more information or even control over Shepard's alleged mission or that it was played in more understandable way... ¯\\

Unless the religious community makes a push for the content they wish for, they won't. It's not going to be handed to them on a silver platter just because a few people passively asked for it in one short-lived topic. There has to be a strong and consistent campaign.LeVaughnX wrote...

It's called fanservice. Bioware does that a lot.4.) Excessive Pandering to many many groups of people...
