Tali's loyalty mission. After you take back Alerei (or whatever is the name), you're heading back to admiralty. In the meantime you hear quarians saying "There's no reason to believe Tali is still alive" and stuff like that. Omg, she's standing right there people.

In that case you didn't understand the conversation. Sovereign was saying that reapers are on a higher realm of existence, that they are above organic life. This implies that they are sort of deities, and he specifically states that extermination at their hands isn't something we can fight, it's like part of the circle of life, inevitable. To which Shepard's reply makes perfect sense, saying that they aren't gods, and they aren't above us. They can be broken, so they can be fought, killed and defeated.

No, you got lost.

Most messed up moment in ME? Not being able to kick Joker in the shins for not saying thanks. Oh, and all the dialgue during Horizon and for not having a "Smack in the face" option during it.

I hope you kidding, man. Youn think that I think they are Gods and cannot be "broken" or something? It's not about if it can be done or not, it's just this line sounds ridiculous.

It's not about what you think, it's about what was implied by Sovereign. If you interpret it out of context it will sound strange, but given the entire speech it's reasonable.

the only moment in mass effect I can think of that makes no sense to me is when you're on board the collector ship and your squad mates are all like "they're going to target Earth". that doesn't fit the collector's profile at all and even though there ship is powerful it could still be taken out quite easily if of the ship after Earth makes no sense in the narrative.

Once the Reapers arrive and strip away all of Earth's defenses... then the Collector ship will/would go after Earth.

- The audio message the mother recorded for her child on the Quarian ship that the Geth took over.

- Kelly or the colonist getting liquified

- Not being able to punch Joker in the face for getting Shep killed

Saren shooting himself in the head was a bit shocking for me; I mean, after Virmire I was all ready to tear him to pieces, and for a lot of the game he was your main opponent. Then when you're ready to lay into him and grant yourself some catharsis for all the stuff he's put you through, he has a change of heart and takes it away, and you're left feeling horrible for him instead. I'm sure I swore out loud at that point.  Loved it though.

On Jack's recruitment mission, that one prisoner. Always get's me.

Shep: "What's it like in here?"
Prisoner: "Not too bad, but...d4mn, someone's always after your stuff. Your clothes, your money, your...*grimaces*...pride.
I haven't had a shower in three weeks/months."

1) Nihlus death made me sorry, then angry. What the hell this Saren is (was) doing?
2) Virmire. I wish I won't have to make such decicions in ME3
3) "Ah, yes, Reapers" by turian councilor. Wanted to disconnect. But there was no option. Pity.
4) I made a fatal mistake in my first playtrhough - came after Reaper IFF before I ended loyalties for squadmates. I ended them after Collectors took crew, so half of my crew, including Kelly and Gabriella died :(

ME2 romance scenes. They sucked.

I honestly prefered the interaction prior to the sex to ME1 (well for Garrus, Tali, and Jack... not so much for the other three... especially Jacob... that one was cringe worthy).  But everything else, the music, the way it's shot, the post sex stuff (non existant in the second game I know) was so much better in the first.

Here are my top 5 WTF moments in order of appearance.
1) Nihlus' death. It was a complete shocker, and I don't think it did anything to help the story except introduce Saren as an ****.
2) Every conversation with Ashley. It was like talking to my grandmother, my racist, psudointellectual, religious grand mother. Granted I still chose to save her over Kaiden.
3) 'Ah yes, reapers.' Dude you saw my man Joker blow one up, and you're denying their existance? In that fight did you get hit on the head or something?
4) The conversation with the VS on Horizon. I just saved your life and half the colony, and you're saying that I'm an ****? I really hope you get to tell the VS off in game three, because that was just ridiculous.
5) "But the prize." My theory is that Jacob Taylor wasn't kicked out of the Alliance for trying to say what a hero he was. He was kicked out for sexual harassment. Seriously, I think he's a date-rapist.

Ah, you don't get it. I KNOW it's reasonable, I just don't like Shepard's choice of words. I wasn't reffering to the whole Shepard speech, just that specific line and that specific line could be written better, all right?
I know it makes sense what Shepard says, but it sounds lame. And I'm not the only one thinking that. It was mentioned by bunch of people already.

I guess I'm among the few that liked Arrival and the way it was done.

My threshold for stupid BS isnt that high and definetly not in such concentrations as Arrival managed to create.

LOTSB had issues that seriously annoyed me but for the most part it managed to off-set that with a decent length and content effort. Arrival should have been so much more than what BW decided to push out rather than a pathetic money grab designed to plaster over stupidity in ME2 and shoehorn ME3 plot in.

The plot of Arrival is as follows:

Hackett: Go to the system and find out whats going on
Kenson X: Ha we are indoctrinated and the Reapers are coming !!!!!
Shepard: I will stop you no matter the cost !
Kenson: You stopped the Reapers, Argh !
Harbinger: We are coming, Prepare to die
Shepard: Your just a machine... and we will break you cause humans are like, totally awesome...
Hackett: You did the right thing but your totally gonna get burned for it. Tough luck
Shepard: Yup, the Reapers are coming and we have to be ready and sacrifice me for the greater good
Hackett: Good boy, I gotta go cause your still the enemy, bye.

Saturate the inbetween bits with lots of fighting the same enemies over and over - YAY DLC... that will be          $20 please, have a nice day.

I do not see it as stupid BS at all and IMO it was quite good the plot was way better than that.

What ever next location you were going to; Shepard needed to use the shuttle to get to his next location so EDI and Joker can fix the IFF.

Yeah, but it makes NO sense why shepard had to take everyone...NO SENSE AT ALL...

Which I guess is why you are amoung the few that think so, right ?

A good story has the characters drive the plot with their character.
A bad story has the characters driven by the plot even when it is AGAINST logic, common sense and the character

Arrival managed to do all three by reducing the entire cast to morons for it to work. Yeah, thats TOTALLY a good plot that in the end achieves NOTHING but inform the player the Reapers are coming (Really ?. Didnt know that thanks), Shepard is going to get busted (Cause I got forced into committing mass murder) and your no better off than you started (Yay, I'm still an outcast and noone believes me)

You are better off than when you started out though. Had the Reapers used the Alpha Relay, the galaxy would have been lost.

Shepard's insistence on indenture service being equal to slavery.

Shepard's insistence on Mordin being a murderer that killed thousands of krogans with the Genophage.
