So, will Liara be mortal this time around?

Liara, one of the least interesting characters, doesn't really bring anything unique or particularly interesting to the table is deemed to be vital. Eh, why?

Hell yeah you got a point there. I also want Anderson and Udina to die to. They are too mortal. Even though they weren't in my squad in ME2 I still want to kill them. Emily Wong to. That **** was annoying. Even if Liara wasn't a permanent partymember in ME2 it would have made total sense to be able to kill her off. /sarcasm

I wouldn't be surprised if they did that.

She'd probably still be an LI too.

Why are people not complaining about Joker's plot armor?
Joker never riped pieces off of Shepard's cold, dead corpse and put them on display in his apartment.
....as far as we know, at least.

No, Joker not leaving caused Shepard to die. EDIT:Forgot to add. Liara never saw Shepard's body. Most likely Liara got the armor from Cerberus. Shepard's body was in some stasis pod.KawaiiKatie wrote...

I mean to go out of your way to purposely kill a crew member just because you couldn't kill them before is a little creepy.

I've been killing off people in some of my games on purpose, but not because I don't like them. I'm doing it to see the difference not having them in ME3. I think some deaths will affect the game greatly while others will not. I want to see those differences.Bachi1230 wrote...
Why do people care about whether you can kill a squadmate or not don't you want to keep everyone on your crew alive?

I have over 20 play throughs are majority of them everyone survives.
I don't like Zaeed, but I don't go out of my way to kill the guy.

No one complains about Joker's plot armour because he never does anything extremely creepy that impacts Shepard. Liara needed plot armour because she needed to track Shepard down, pocket some Shepard momentos, never mention any of it to Shepard's loved ones or family, and make sure that Shepard gets resurrected by terrorists.
I mean, sure, Joker has plot armour. But he doesn't use it to creep me out, so I forgive him.

I don't want to purposefully kill off Liara, but I am curious to find out if she can die in ME3, if only for fairness' sake. If everyone around Shepard is dying in ME3 but Liara is still gleefully donning plot armour, I'll be upset. I don't like being punished for not romancing Bioware's favourite.

Only a Spacer Shepard has family. And besides Hackett gave Liara Shepard's tags to give back to Shepard. She says this in the cabin scene of LotSB.KawaiiKatie wrote...

True, but does that mean that Hannah Shepard wasn't entitled to a phone call?
Moreover, I'm confused about why Ash or Kaidan weren't entitled to a phone call. Even if they aren't Shepard's love-interest, they still went through just as much stuff with Shepard as Liara did, and would probably have an emotional stake in Shepard's resurrection. The situation only becomes more creepy if the VS is Shepard's love-interest: why woudl Liara keep that information from the person Liara knows Shepard cares about?
And besides Hackett gave Liara Shepard's tags to give back to Shepard. She says this in the cabin scene of LotSB.
Aha! Yes. Liara was instructed to give those tags back to Shepard! Which Liara dutifully followed through with...!
...if you played nice with her and agreed to share drinks with her. If you told Liara that it wasn't a good idea, that you'd rather not have drinks with her (and possibly give her the wrong idea there, just saying) then Liara doesn't seem to care what Hackett asked her to do. She keeps those tags for herself, just like the piece of Shepard's armour in her apartment.
