oh this again, no dude stop b!tching theres in my opinion over a 90% chance shell be able to die just like every other character and rightfully so... and this is coming from a Liara fan. But as a Liara fan im gonna do everything i need to do to prevent that. i like how this slightly turned into an i hate Liara thread....smh

Lol. Every thread that has anything to do with a character will turn into a hate thread of that character. Thats just the way this forum is.

Hmm as much as I love Liara as a character I think she should be able to die in this game. Both her and Joker have serious plot armor but I think since its the last game and an Reaper invasion they should be able to die. Everyone should really but you should be able to save them all.

If I were Bioware I'd slap plot armor on her again. Or at least make her death only possible in the fail ending, that doesn't carry over into future Mass Effect titles. (sort of like how the everyone dies ending of ME2 doesn't carry over to ME3)

That might seem like an odd position to take considering I've argued quite often on these boards that there shouldn't be an 'everyone lives' ending for Mass Effect 3. But if the Mass Effect universe is going to live beyond the Shepard trilogy, I think there should be at least one character that links the seperate protagonists and stories together. The most obvious choice for this role would be Liara both because she's the most important and powerul information broker in the galaxy, and because she is a very young member of a species that can live over 1,000 years.

Aria might work in the same role but only if future Mass Effect titles are set not long after Mass Effect 3. Aria is much older than Liara and would be dead if they fast foward too far in the timeline. Since my preference however is to set any future Mass Effect game a few centuries after the events of Mass Effect 3, Liara would be a better choice for me personally as Mass Effect's Flemeth.

Well If you want her to be like Flemeth, than you should be able to kill her in me3. But she get resurrected in me4.

I do like Liara. She was almost always in my squad in ME 1. But making her unkillable is too unrealistic.

I don't really get why killing of squad mates are such a thrill. I much prefer they actually implemented changes in the world itself then wasting resources accounting for multiple squad mate paths.

But you don't see threads about it though.  Joker got Shepard killed or partly anyway.  I don't have a screen to show it, but Shepard did let go of the escape pod, looked back to the damage and because of that when the explosion happened is when Shepard blew away from the pod. 

If Shepard would have just gotten in the pod after Joker, Shepard might not have gotten spaced.  BioWard need a reason for Shepard to be with Cerberus, so it is what it is.
