Considering I don't like Liara, absolutely hated her in ME1 and was forced to befriend her in Lair of the Shadow Broker despite it being out of character and had to watch as the Mass Effect Genesis comic explained in great detail how amazing Liara is while the VS gets one line?

I'd love for the character to have a chance to die, just to show that the writers aren't trying to establish how amazing she is by protecting her and making her everybody's friend / romance.

I mean why do you care? Why does this bothers you? I don't like some squaddies in ME2, yet I still haven't killed them (at least not  with my canon Shepard) and if I don't like someone I won't take them with me on a mission, I won't talk to them or something. If Tali would be "immortal" too, so be it. I don't give a damn, because I can decide whether I'll interact with them or not. I can't believe some people in this community ...

Chakwas has plot armor, Anderson has plot armor, Admiral Hackett has plot armor, Kaidan/Ashley has plot armor etc. etc. etc.

The reason you can't kill Liara/Ashley/Kaidan off is because they wanted to be able to make sure that your ME1 love interests survived to ME3 if they survived ME1. It's frickin simple, "boohoo I'm a sociopath and can't kill whoever I feel like".

It is not that people want Liara dead just because they don't like her; they don't like her because she cannot be dead in any way. With the other teammates risking their lives alongside Shepard and the player having to fear actually losing them due to some bad decision, here sits Liara on the side, unscuffed and daisy fresh. Too important to ever have her killed by a careless decision or a suspicious feeling that she'd turn corrupt on Shepard. I was ok with her right up to LOTSB when her once compassionate and moral attitude turned into the very thing she protested on Noveria

Yep, she's the only squadmate that has zero chance of dying in both games.

At the end of it all, it will just be Joker and Liara left to repopulate the galaxy.

Since Shepard is no longer TIMmys janitor for failed experiments and rogue cells this is a possibility. In fact, it is probably necesary to kill traitors to humanity like TIMmy in order to survive the reaper war.

Miranda's a durable women, shooting her would have no effect. Just give in and except that Miranda DLC is inevitable for ME3.

I really don't have a problem with this plot armor to be honest. Its actually explained rather well to be honest.

In ME1 Tali, Garrus, Liara and at least 1 VS couldn't die. Is that plot armor? No that's just how the plot goes a certain amount of people can die according to the plot period. I haven't heard anyone crying about plot armor then.

In ME2 Wrex, VS, Liara, Joker could not die no matter what. Now I'm hearing people cry about plot armor. Why the hell are you idiots being childish over that crap. Liara only got one playable mission with her and that is about it period. Oh what you wanted her to die in that one? Too bad for you then. The only times you can kill your party members in ME2 is on the suicide mission or Zaeed's DLC mission that is it.
