I think a DLC is a lot more reasonable than a whole game. Even so, I wouldn't buy a game around her. She's never been major to me, just another face I rarely visit.
And I completely disagree that she should be the 'new femshep.' Sure more people play as a guy but some of us love our femsheps dearly. She was the first human Spectre, not Miranda.

Personally, I feel the only character truly deserving of their own game would be Garrus. Romances don't need to be involved, the game could take place entirely in the two years between ME1 and ME2. In those two years, Garrus really did what Shepard had been doing the entire time in ME1: getting the job done, recruiting a small squad because of it, and kicking the bad guys right in the daddy bags.
Garrus is pretty much a Turian version of commander Shepard, when you think about it. He had his own squad and screwed the gangs of Omega eighteen different ways on a daily basis like Shepard did with the Geth and Saren. Sure, he's a bit more renegade sometimes, like with Harkin's treatment in his loyalty quest, but that's entirely because of what happened with Sidonis. Think about it: being able to play through Garrus's shoes as he led his squad around Omega and then the betrayal scene with Sidonis... personally, I feel that's more worthy of its own game than Miranda and how she became part of Cerberus.
If you want something original, a bit out there, and based around only one character, go with Legion for crying out loud. It wouldn't be much of a big game, but maybe as a DLC-only game, something small where it's a bit of a detective game besides the shooter sections.

"not a lot" is like 10 or 20 percent of the players...
And if i like a character,im interested in his/her background ,wanted to help him or her and make sure the person stays alive.
I guess most of the players would play a game this way...

.As for a miranda protagonist game I wouldnt be opposed to it in fact it would probably be pretty cool. but she gets to much hate for it to be profitable so its probably a no-go.
