While i agree DA2 has a fair few flaws that should have been done better Origins and its DLC has just as many flaws and is made even more horrendous by the fact it had a 3-4 year Dev cycle, hopefully the mistakes from both games will be rectified by DA3 but it would be unrealistic to expect them to please everyone when EA has their hands on the wallet and lets be honest EA has never been any good at doing anything other than Genre hybrids( notice in the tiger woods games how physics sometimes go out the window)

I bet there will be more things that anger that hardcore Origins haters like you.
They already said they were going to incorporate more elements from Origins in the first game. I suggest you learn to deal with it.

Like the siblings. It was established lore in Origins that you don't need to be injured by Darkspawn to contract the Blight disease, and you can clearly see Bethany/Carver feeling weak when you meet Sandal.
And he must've forgotten that Wesley was injured in his sword arm. That's why he couldn't fight. It's kinda hard to fight when a Darkspawn slashed your sword arm into being useless in a fight.

It's probably just him trying to get attention for his boring videos.Cutlass Jack wrote...
Am I the only one finding it a little odd that people are creating new accounts just to promote this guy's videos today?

Nope, but I've gotten used to stuff like this. People join for a single purpose that doesn't involve talking about the game, the story, the lore, speculation, development, etc.

Pretty much, though it's funny when he starts talking about the Chanters. Cleary he missed the part in DAO where Chanters operatet the board and others where called priest, lay sisters, mothers ect in DAO. It's just Smudboy being Smudboy. The Ethereal Writer Redux wrote...
not everything he's saying is a valid point.

He even get's the Qunari stuff wrong.

I found the Rageaholic review to be better than smudboy's, because at least he knew what he was talking about.
I'm no fan of DAII, but if a person is going to make a review of a game, it should be a proper one instead of one where the reviewer just makes up flaws that don't actually exist. Or they are flaws, but they existed in the previous game.

He does an excellent job describing plotholes and making suggestions of where they could have done better.

Another of DA2's failings is how completely irrelevant "The Rise To Power" part of the story was. Hawke becoming a Champion is not something he actively pursues and when he gets the title it changes absolutely nothing for him or his position in the city. In act III he's still just Bob the Builder mending other people's fences because the plot demands it.
It's even more nonsensical considering that his family at this point have all been killed off and thus voids the initial motivation.

Good series. Points out a lot of the issues with Dragon Age 2 and concisely explains why they're bad. Hopefully Bioware are also aware of all the reasons DA2 was bad.
Hardly. A lot of the stuff he's talking about makes no sense either because he gets the lore wrong or because he's seeing things in a narrow light.
That the game skipped forward 3 years after the expedition doesn't mean Hawke and company moved into the estate 3 years after the expedition. Plus, there are all sorts of proceedings and hearings, along with deals that have to be made, to ensure the Hawke family gets back their estate.
