just as the title says I want to start a new game but I worry my save file will corrupt....anyone can confirm if the patch was released?
Did bioware released a patch for the corrupted saves?

They never did and never will. For them this game version is fine because they can't reproduce the glitches on their machines. They moved on Mass Effect 3 instead.

Yes, they released the patch... the 1.02 fixes the save issue among other things. Bioware still cares about ME2, don't go downing them for no reason.

They don't care. If they did, they would listen to us and work on a way to fix this messy port. Sorry for my pessimism, but I have every right to be mad. I paid for this game, all its DLC and I want it to work.

1. Massive audio sync problems
2. Corrupted saves
3. Random freezing that will result whit corrupted saves

Today I luckiy survived a freeze with my save file intact. However I'm kinda disspointed that after so long they never fixed this.

Yeah I'm getting these glitches too. Obviously they don't have the tech know how to resolve the problems.

NO there isn't! Today the game freezed on me and I lost a 40+ hour character including ALL my savegames (around 30). I was a few missions away from taking the Omega 4 relay! This is the most frustrating game problem I have EVER encountered.
I thought to play safe and create multiple savegames because I heard about the problems in the beginning and thought that the **** was fixed with patches but HELL NO!
Why the HECK are ALL savegames saved to a single file on the PS3? What's the use of multiple savegames when you loose EVERYTHING if the game glitches.
MAN i'm really sick of this.
