Sadly, BioWare have to pay a bunch of money to put out patches on consoles, and since there aren't many bugs present, it becomes less of a priority.
But PC patches are diamonds.

I don't think Golems is better than the Leliana or Shale DLCs but it is underrated IMHO. It contains some great additions to the lore. If we could have done it with DAO companions it would have been much more highly regarded.Salaya wrote...

I still think I like The Stone Prisoner the most though. Nothing beats having Shale making comments throughout the entire story.
But yeah, Legacy is the best DLC as of yet in the Dragon Age series.

When you have 60 hours game and you put few DLC that add hour of two then you got plenty of content.
If you have 30 hour crappy game that is repeatable (10 locations that you know after 30 min and then you use them for 30 hours + fights that always look same way - monsters spawn around you every dam time), you just MUST add longer DLC. It's like covering a sh** on the carpet.
But if you think about it. All Bioware DLC are just one big pile of crap. If you ADD ALL DLC FROM DRAGON AGE II AND DRAGON AGEN: Origins, MASS EFFECT: 1 and 2 you cannot compare it to 3 DLC from for example FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS (only DLC).
One DLC is a 8 hour or more content + one big new area and loot of places to explore. And there is 3 DLC like that.
Also if you compare it to Baldurs Gate 2 (around 300 hours), you realize that last 5 Bioware games TOGETHER don't offer so much content like that old classic RPG.
If you ask me - I wish that Bioware could make better quality games. Not in terms of graphic (i really don't care so much about it) but in terms of gameplay. Sam with DLC. When I got reach game like DA:O, I bought all DLC for it.
When I saw DA II, i canceled pre-order and bought the game for half of the original price with ME2 thrown for free. And I didn't bought any DLC for it. It's not worth it at all.

Dead Money for Fallout new vegas caused me to stop playing the game altogether, did not like that DLC at all.

What I liked most about it was the difficulty, and that the overpowered Awakening talents were actually useful, rather than unnecessary in the expansion that they came from.
I liked Legacy, though it probably helped that I also liked DA2, despite it's flaws. Hopefully the rest of the DA2 dlc are even better or of similar quality.

Legacy was the BIGGEST DLC they have done and it really can't be compared to Origins DLC
Erm no its not or have you all forgot about Awakening?
Awakening is an expansion...not a DLC. Big difference there.
Err no DLC means Downloadable Content - Awakening was downloadable beit that it also appeared on retail also but it was downloadable expansion i.e. content adding to the original game making it DLC.

DLC =/= Expansion. You understand this, yes? Like how WoW has expansions but no one calls them DLCs. It isn't a DLC. Not even close.

Um....Whatever
Still a big difference between an Expansion and a DLC.
If you were expecting a DA:2 expansion....its obvious as to why you are disappointed.
They NEVER said they were releasing expansion like packs for DA:2.
And its likely any future DLC will disappoint you as well.

I hope the DA team uses this DLC as the blueprint for future DA2 DLC, because I stand by saying that this was the best DA (1 or 2) DLC that was ever released.

So which game is that? DA2 is a 60 hour game for me, plus a 4 hour dlc so I've got plenty of content by your measure.Dariuszp wrote...

As for the comparison to FONV, Legacy is fully voiced by the whole cast, the FONV doesn't have that sort of cost. As far as I'm concerned a 4 hour dlc with that content (along with the all new areas), which I will replay probably 5 times in total is worth it.

I downloaded Dragon Age 2, does that make it DLC?
This has opened a whole new world for me. If I download all my games what comes First? The Game? Or the Downloadable Content?
I think this has put the thread into the a Metaphysical discussion on the aspects of downloading games.

DLC is content that is to further extend the main game, come on people use some common sense >.<

However an Expansion is designed to expand (not extend) beyond the scope of the main game. It's why when you play many expansions packs they have new gameplay aspects (new classes/races/enemies/bosses ect.), and stand alone stories set apart from the main game. Some expansions could even be stand alone games in their own right, Warcraft 3: Wrath of the Lich King comes to mind.
And for the record DLC simpley stands for Downloadable Content. If I'm downloading the full game, I'm downloading Content.
