i went to the old site to try and locate my cd key but it brings me back to the new one and does not contain it

so were do i find my cd key at
for mass effect 1 dlc bring down the sky

ya just contacted ea support got told the dlc is discontinued so i am crap out of luck

You might want to try again, could be you just got unlucky with whoever got your case. I opened a ticket the other week and was sent a key after a day or so.

there's quite a few threads on this. basically they took it down, they rfigured near on 5 years is enough, which is quite fair, they can't be expected to keep it up forever. of course they still have it and if you can get hold of a cool rep they can free one up, but that's kinda like waiting for the second coming...

I contacted EA support the other day and had a key within ~5 mins of talking to the support agent.. they just replied to my question with the key for the DLC

Got a key generated for me in a sub-5 minute chat session on 20/8/11. The agent asked me to paste my game reg key then gave me a BDTS key on the spot.

It seems your success in getting a BDtS key depends a lot on who you get for the chat session. I got a key last night for this without needing to supply my ME CD key.

ok so i tried to get the key with hel pof EA live chat/support, first guy told me he can't give me the key because "our tool is down" hovewer having read many accounts of useless support agents i've tried again and the 2nd guy got me a key in matter of minutes

so if anyone is getting some BS excuse just try again.

Still nnot a problem to get one from the support chat if you still require one. Nice to see that EA is still so helpful with such an old game

I have just got one from EA chat, it took less than 2 mins. The girl at EA gave me the link to the download site and the key, no questions asked.
