Hey, I haven't played DA2 in several months and just bought all of the dlc (legacy, archer guy, and both item packs). I have played all of the class before I'm open to everything except a bloodmage.
Which class would be best to use with those dlcs?
A build and party makeup would be awesome.
Thanks guys
What class should I use?

What are you looking for? Rogues are by far the most damaging class right now, but if you played everything already you might be better off with a mage spec you haven't tried. Also, playing a tank is great fun, but I always thought Aveline was too good in that role to take the spot from her. I simply controlled her and left my Hawke mage AI controlled.

All of them?
A DW rogue really shines with the two Item Packs. You can now use dual elemental weapons (nature and spirit) from the start in addition to having anti-squishy armor you can equip immediately. The packs made a solo DW rogue a much more viable choice than it was previously.

mages are best in this game. play a mage that has spirit healer abilities and then the rest of ur skill points should go into learning the trees that have walking bomb and sleep. oh and get the 2 ice spells in the 1st spell tree; if possible, get the upgrade of cone of cold

Thanks for the replies, so rogues gain the most from the dlcs.
Just to reiterate, I'm not looking for the best overall class just one that gains the most or use
the dlc the most. Basically so I'll feel like I got my moneys worth. LOL

Rogues get the most improved armor and weapons from the various DLC, both Archer and Dual Wield.

Also, though all party members have unique banter in Legacy, the recommended companions for it are Varric, Anders and your sibling. They bring the most to the table in terms of plot exposition. And bearing in mind Sebastian is an archer, you probably don't want to go archer or healer mage.
I don't have the item packs, but from what I understand, the mage gets armour which isn't another dopey, generic cloak, so that's a plus...

I would suggest archer rogue style. You might find something interesting.

Rogues are the most powerful in terms of single target dps. They also get the most out of the dlc packs.
And for me, personally, they are the most fun class to play with.

I'd say mage. They get the best DLC gear if you, like me, love the lore aspects of the Amell/Hawke family. I mean come on wearing your fathers old armor and using his old staff is good stuff. Who doesn't love that?
