By doing so, you're saying you will eventually release everything for free anyway. So there's no point in purchasing the game from the get go.
I do wish I could have that and the Collector's armor, but at the same time, it would be unfair for hte people that did shell out the money to get it initially and the sort.
EDIT:

I checked... it's only really cheap... if you are absurdly rich.

The main reason I am sure they haven't done this is so they don't outright invalidate the point of pre-ordering games to begin with.
Which notion doesn't hold up. Rockstar and Ubisoft, for instance, have done just fine by making pre-order DLCs available for purchase after a game has been out for a little bit.
How in the hell do you go from "make pre-order DLC available to all for a price" to "release everything for free"?By doing so, you're saying you will eventually release everything for free anyway. So there's no point in purchasing the game from the get go.

For your first point, isn't that in the form of missions and levels? That makes a little more sense than something unique like armor. (I honestly can't recall anything like this for either games, but I don't pay too close of an attention for that.)
As for the second part, that was actually a mistake on my part. What I should have said is that it shows that you will eventually release something that was passed off as unique for people. I am still surprised they released the Inferno Armor.

They never released the Blood Dragon Armor, only the Inferno Armor. Unless you are using the PS3 version, in which case you get the Collector Armor as well to make up for what 360/PC users got.Geth Unit_X930 wrote...

For the AC games, mostly levels. For R* games, no. You can now buy the War Horse, Deadly Assassin Outfit, and Golden Guns for Red Dead Redemption. With LA Noire, they've made the pre-order suits available.

And inferno armor looks like Iron man...terminus armor is the best armor i've seen yet but i'm not a "armor****"
Well, it looks cool, but it's still not that great. With the exception of the Kestrel components, none of the DLC armor is really worth using. The only time I ever used the Terminus armor, other than to just put it on once to see how it looked when the game first came out, was in one of my Youtube vids. Figured I may as well get some use out of it. The Blackstorm is good fun though. One of my favorite heavy weapons.

How do you know if you haven't tried? Not everyone at EA are greedy corporate barons.
