The promotion finished almost 2 years ago. EA would have nothing to lose if they gave you a leftover code (if they have any left).

I'm sure, they have some left but they wouldn't waste it on some random guy who wants it. They will probably sell it to a person who is willing to pay more money for it. I doubt it is free.

This. Bioware really just didn't bother, it's the same story with the Cerberus armor. Femsheps could be mistaken for men easily in these armors.

It all depends on what kind of deal they had with GameStop if this armor would ever be released as DLC, for they might have said they would not release it as DLC.

Hey here's an idea: next time you want a preorder exclusive bad enough to warrant the creation of a topic about it two years later maybe you should just preorder the game to begin with. And your excuse for not doing so was terrible; we're talking about $5 here so unless you're an eight your old girl working in a sweatshop in Calcutta you should be able to make more than that in an hour's worth of work.

Yeah I regreted getting the Cerberus armor too. The Terminus armor also looks mostly male. Only real difference is the hips which tell you what is male and what is female. Even the Blood Dragon Armor you can easily mistake femshep as male shep. The only armor that doesn't mistake what is male and what is female is the default N7 armor at the begining of the game of ME2. Only 1 chest plate that you buy in ME2 for the N7 armor is like the default N7 chest plate. All the others make your chest look like the male chest plates for male shep. Bioware didn't put any effort into creating different gender chest plates for ME2 N7 armor and literally no effort into the dlc armors. It was a joke.

And what of people who discover the franchise after release? I don't expect things for free, but as someone who has fallen madly in love with the game about a year after it came out, I would be more than happy to throw a reasonable amount of my money at Bioware/EA  for the Terminus pack and the Collector stuff.

As a man who has literally every other piece of ME2 DLC, I can say that I would appreciate a Terminus Gear release. There can't be a legitimate reason for not offering the DLC since there is a market for it. BioWare, I would buy that DLC if you would let me!

BTW, the Terminus Armor looks so sweet with Tech Armor on. Perfect fit for a Sentinel.

There easily could be: they may have a contract with Gamestop which prevents it being released in North America and other territories where it was a Gamestop exclusive. If so, the PS3 probably wasn't covered by the agreement since that version wouldn't have existed at the time.

RDR had some gamestop exclusives,they are now on the market place,as are its amazon and best buy exclusives.

Yeah, and?  Those were different items for a different game by a different developer.  Thus, they would have been subject to....different contracts.

I've had a sinking feeling that's the case. I wish they could at least confirm it so I can stop wasting my hopes on a public release.

For those still interested:

Today I had a weekendshift at my work, but there wasn't much to do, so out of boredom, I just did what Bad King suggested some posts before this one:

I send EA an e-mail through their customer support.
I told them how much I liked ME2 (and I wasn't lying!). and would like to have the Terminus Armor, which was unobtainable for me because of living in the Netherlands, and Gamestop still not having made it's appearance here (as of yet).

They even replied ON THE SAME DAY, with the information that the Terminus Armor has been entitled for my account. They also added this message QUOTE"But please note that this changes have been done as one time exception to our policies. The same may not be entertained in the future".

Just for your information! By the way I'm using the PC version, and for some reason the X360 version of it is unlocked as well.
