Does Anyone Trust Bioware to Create a DAIII?

Some people with loath it
The only question is what the relative proportions each group will comprise of the audience.
I'm waiting for many more details before deciding whether I will buy it.
Currently they have one major strike against them for not returning to a more realistic aesthetic instead of the styalized/cartoon one from DA2. They have one point in favor for the proposed changes to the armor customization.
They have one point undecided, but leaning negative, for not intending to allow 'anywhere' conversations (to be decided when final details are revealed).
If they require the Origin program to be used with the retail version and it retains the spyware EULA provisions, then I won't be bothering. And excessive DRM will also be a veto factor.
So, right now the outlook (on balance) isn't overly good. But, I won't walk away until I've heard the full details. But a pre-order is not remotely a possibility after the DA2 experience.
One thing I can say (with apologies to some of the great devs at Bioware) is that Bioware has now been supplanted at my favorite game developer by a different group that are still making games that I can genuinely be excited about. Perhaps in time Bioware will reclaim that place in my esteem, who knows? But I still think well of them and am grateful for the many games they've made that I have spent so much time enjoying. So regardless of whether I end up buying DA3, or not, I wish them well with it.

But, of course, the BSN already has so many threads solely dedicated to making loud noises and defecating upon the digital effigy of Bioware that creating more would just spread the party thin, so I am sure I am just reading too much into this. After all, there is little point disguising an opinion as a question so that one may receive validation under a pretense of discussion.

Seeing as the team is largely the same from DAO and I enjoyed DA2, so yes. Unless I'm forced to use Origin. Then I will leave the DA series.
Well we're already using an 'origin' account to use these forums and log into the current DA games. So I'm hoping at least where Bioware games are concerned it shouldn't work that differently going forward.

I'm talking about being forced to use the client to play the game like TOR and BF3 are doing.Cutlass Jack wrote...

One of the things that makes me look forward to DA3 is that, whatever flaws DA2 had, they mostly weren't the same flaws as DAO.

It's almost as if these question threads aren't actually meant as a serious inquiry of opinion, but as a rhetorical invitation to participate in yet another superfluous, negativistic echo chamber, whereby the furious slapping of flesh from the nether regions of its circularly-positioned participants may resonate off the walls in a grand, deafening cacophony of ******.
I guess the Gorilla is a no buy for you.
Or was it the naked drunk oghren suggestion? That can have very negative effects I agree.

I agree. Time will tell. But the million dollar question...will there be enough time.

I am not in the mood to look or be serious but as I understand it Origins is a digital distribution front not something that will be required for those games. I do know for ToR it will have its own launch/patch form and origins wont be needed for that.
There are some other issues concerning Origins about it data mining but its friday night and... Iwell im not in a coherent enough state to follow thru.

....but I was serious about wanting a drunken, naked Oghren cameo
Assuming you were talking about naked, drunken Oghren as I believe you were.
Also, I enjoyed reading your plethora of fancy and impressive words

I was actually just searching for the most grandiloquently dysphemistic way of saying 'circlejerking in an echo chamber' and I have no idea what you are referencing but naked Oghren sounds pretty bad ass (get it, get it, because if he is naked his ass would be visible and also presumably extremely hairy which may make it bad on some metrics) so let's go with that. The Ethereal Writer Redux wrote...

EA has clearly corrupted Bioware with its casual egg agenda. Brent Knowles was wise to leave for hotter skillets.FieryDove wrote...
And Chris hates liver and in-game romances. So what does that mean along with the Chocolate Bacon Mr. Epler stance.

You missed the horror in one of the announcement threads then. He was all over the place and poor Mr. Epler was scarred for life. As were we all.

My knowledge of the vernacular isn't as strong as other peoples', but I do my best to know a fair portion of it.

I saw nether regions, slapping of flesh, and ****** and I immediately thought that you were talking about naked Oghren
best not to go there.
and you should've seen the topic where this first came up. I think it was tmp who posted a picture of naked video game Oghren in battle. Actually naked.
John Epler has suffered nightmares ever since he saw that, and I probably haven't helped him get over them.
and lol at the bad ass comment.

Yes, I trust them. It's Bioware. They've worked magic before, they can do it again. And it's not as though DA2 will be a tough act to follow, given all the fan feedback they'd have a hard time NOT making DA3 better.
As you say, they worked magic before, but EA is turning them into dwarves kinda, regarding magic.

No really thats why BW keeps me around. They toy with the fans like Blizzard does.
