I'm personally hoping for a scene in Mass Effect 3 where the humans and batarians set aside their differences and form a shaky alliance against the reapers.

I'm looking forward to humans allying with the only other humanoid species with ears too.

The turian 'fleet' that occupied Shanxi was a four ship patrol. The human fleet that counter attacked was much larger. Ship for ship the turians were far superior.

The fleet that operated Shanxi was a full and proper fleet.
The patrol ships destroyed an expedition sent through the Shanxi-Theta relay thus starting the war. The Commander of Shanxi sent out a retalitory force which destroyed the Turian patrol, the Turian responce was to send a fleet to capture Shanxi, this fleet was then in turn routed by the Human Alliance Second Fleet.

Considering that James Vega is Brodus Clay, I don't think he should be questioning other people's boobs.

They've been spacefaring for over 2000 years and humans seem to have brought them to their knees after being spacefaring for little more than 200 years. They wage a lame proxy war and they have no known army to speak of.

Do they have a smaller population, or something? Why are they so weak compared to everyone else, and so how much of the Reaper "Husk force" will be made up of these guys?

Probably make up little to none of the Reaper force, as they are very weak and act like ****** rats. I enjoyed slapping them down in the DLC, "Bring Down The Sky", and killing that Balak guy, choking on his own blood. I think they are nestled up on some lame planet messing around. They are so weak because they fail at everything hey do

The Batarians always get their weak **** swatted to the tenth row. Its a simple rule of evolution. Why do humans roll up to earth later than animals but still regulate the whole globe? Simple, we are smarter. In conclusions, Batarians need to take their weak **** elsewhere in the galaxy.

Do they? The Alliance have defeated batarian funded pirate gangs but they've never actually gone up against the batarian military.

Also natural evolution through natural selection relies on individuals of the same species, not one species committing genocide of another.

What is? That their military is weak and they fail at everything they do? I don't remember the book ever making these claims.

Think about that quote non-literally, and think more about the implied ridiculousness.

I'm well aware of the wiki version. Unfortunately the old forums are closed, so I can't pull up the numerous discussions that Mr. L'Etoile participated in on the subject. Here is the in game codex version of the fcw atleast.

I think Bad King is a Batarian sympathizer. IMO, the Batarians aren't even a respectable group to pull for as underdogs. Neither ME 1 nor 2 develop the useless flesh bags with 6 nostrils. I mean, oxygen is a rare comoditty in space... why should all sentient beings be forced to draw on air recycled through Batarian lungs?

Again, lets just keep the Batarians where they belong: relegated to the edges of space.

Nah, dude. You are sympathizing with the 8-nostriled, fleshy bipeds. They always show hostility towards the humans, and pose a threat, even attacking them. Ever heard of the Skyllian Blitz of 2176? Yeah, of course you have'nt. To sum it up, The Batarians attacked the humans, got whooped, then retreated to their own systems outside of citadel space.
