Way to make Shepard
look like a chump. Tosses Shepard out of a building, lands gracefully, ends up Mortally wounded, bleeding gallons of blood all over the place and she still kicked Shepard's ass 3 v 1? The most irritating thing to me was that there was no option to recruit her. Shepard had the ability to convince Saren while under control of indoctrination and having Reaper Implants to 'end it' while he could, and Shepard couldn't convince Tela that she was flying off the hook too much? I'd think Shepard (Renegade or Paragon) would beaten her up, then possibly try to befriend her. She was a damn powerful Specter who may have done a little too much wet work in the field, but Shepard's turned powerful people away from dark paths before (Calming down Wrex, Convincing a crimelord to give up the syndicate, Zaheed's mission paragon route among other encounters). She makes a much better candidate for recruitment than Morinith for damn sure on the story telling side, and I'd take her Renegade tendencies over Jack's attitude any day.
She just had better character depth, as
the fallen hero who truely believed she owed her debt to the Shadow Broker because he helped her save lives. Didn't Shepard work with Cerberus for the same reasons? Strange since Liara becomes the new Shadow Broker anyway, who I assume Shepard will recieve missions and objectives from in ME3.
I'm still kinda suprised the council didn't even mention the incident to Shepard, I would have assumed they needed to provide reperations for all the civilians that were blown up when Tela took out that building, and every one between her and escaping, while running and gunning across the biggest brothel on Illum.
But the Story is written, I assume she's dead for good and there's no changing that now. I'd just like to point out that it was a VERY obvious missed opprotunity. Unless someone called an ambulence, I bet it's easier to heal a freshly dead Specter than one that's been spaced, fallen out of orbit and crushed into a frozen planet's surface for a few months.
And will Shepard ever run into a Specter that
survives? I'd like to think "ALL HANDS ON DECK" are in effect for ME3, and giving Shepard a few more One-Man-Army 's would be a good idea.
I don't think it'll take as many blows to the head to convince people to join Shepard this time around, but in anycase This was my hopeful face for new teammate at the end of Tela's fight (before she died :< )

:edit where the hell do these return carriges keep appearing from?
