By the way, there's totally more there with him than meets the eye.

How can anyone not like Sandal in DA2? He's more than welcome in my Hawke's mansion, as long as he doesn't accidentally burn it down.
Unfornately for the Sandal haters, there's a good chance that he'll show up in Orlais for DA3, though not officially confirmed. Might as well learn to like him because there's no escaping Sandal and his enchantments!

I could understand how some may find him annoying but I think Sandal brings the funny and is adorable. I like the little back and forths between him and Bodahn in Hawke's estate.
I hope we see them in DA3 or any DLC that takes place in Orlais since that's where they are headed.

Sandal is the bomb. Sometimes literally.

There seems to be more to him story wise if you pay attention to him. He always seems to know something important, but doesn't know how to tell you. This is more noticeable in DA2, but there are a few hints in DA:O especially if you hear how his father found him. I got a bet going that he is a dwarf mage. Since dwarves can't be mages that would be what is causing his mental slowness; a dwarf mind 'infected' by the Fade.

i'm just curious how in dao he killed aaaaalllllll those darkspawn in the castle, if it was him and where his dad went, very mind bottling
Anyways, Oghren is the very best character in Awakening. Especially if you bring him and Sigrun at the same time.
Sandal I could mostly take or leave, but he's good fun in Witch Hunt. (How are you doing, Sandal?)

I thought that too, but isnt the fact that hes useing runes to enchant weapons make his already have magical powers? I think Sandel was the one who should have went to the Circle to study....Raydiva wrote...
Sandal is to Dragon Age as Cid is to Final Fantasy. He'll most likely show up in some form in every Dragon Age game.

This Dragon Age Headcanon comes to mind, not sure if anyone's brought it up yet.
Silly as he is, there's definitely more to him than meets the eye. And he's a cute gag-character for all his silly lines.
My Hawke was more than a little concerned about letting him into her mansion, but he earns his keep with all his enchantin'.
