I hate to say it but I think it might be PC only. I found a section called "Your registered game promotions" listed under "Profile" option of left hand menu, in it is a list of all the items a person is entitled to ( or at least as far as I can understand anyway. The list is broken down to each system (PC,360, and PS3), PC seems to be the only one which has an "unrecognized item" listen under it... Which leads me to believe that "the Edge" might be the "unrecognized item" and as such is only for the PC users.



Keep in mind I am merely guessing, a slightly educated guess mind you but a guess none the less.

i have both CE for 360 and PC ,both are registered and never got an email about it and i only have a unknow item on my PC list and when in game i see no options to download it

I have the PC CE and all my promo codes show correctly. However, sometime in the last few days a "UNRECOGNIZED ITEM" appeared in the list of my registered game promotions.



As for a download link, what download link are you looking for? The full game or just for "The Edge"? What codes have you registered? Have you actually received a code for "The Edge"? Bumping and complaining about a lack of response when you've provided virtually no info is rather, well, silly. Maybe more people would be able to respond if you'd bothered to take a little more time to provide more for people to work with?

I don't get it JOG, how does that work? How do I get "the edge", and there were a couple of things in that list of yours I hadnt heard of.

Manually Download ALL DLC:

If any of the below download as .zip, rename to .dazip (make sure file extentions are on in windows), run daupdater and drop as many as you like (or all) into daupdater once it's running and install. Any registered game WILL accept and use all of the once below EXCEPT: The Stone Prisoner, Wardens Keep, and the blood armo, and the Bergens Armor stuff. The rest of the special retailer DLC will work (I know I installed them and got all the items)

A manual install can often fix a broken DLC vs letting the game DL and install it. This way you will also have the original DLC to re install should it corrupt and you won't have to re DL IT.

some items will just BE there in your inventory when you load up a saved game. Others will be on marchants as the story progresses

Apparently it's "a backend entitlement having to do with the character creator - it will be hidden in a near-future build of the site."

Tech support on here has been a joke. I've gone for the better part of a week now trying to get the "Warden's Keep" DLC to download. The unofficial guide is head, shoulders and even ankles above anything I've seen presented by BioWare/EA. It's a great game, too bad it's not being supported the way one would expect after having paid extra money for the DLC. I've learned my lesson: I won't be buying DLC again. If it doesn't come in the shipped box then I'm not interested...Oh and I will get some sort of satisfaction for the money I paid to EA/BioWare which they're keeping but which I have received nothing for!



Thanks for the links TallBearNC. Once again the unofficial crowd does more to help than the so-called "professionals". Disgraceful.

In the downloaded content tab they are installed, but say unauthorised, and the game says it wont load them.

The Edge item will appear for you to download shortly after the 30th. Starting end of day on the 30th we'll be going through all accounts that have registered the game (any platform) and enabling the item for you.



We'll also be sure to post here and update you once the item is available so you know when to expect it waiting next time you log in to the game.

LOL I already have The Edge. I already downloaded it and it's in game. I don't see why people can manually install it, yet BW doesn't have the game auto DL and install it. Lame

Here's the thing.. now and then you get a Dev on here.. someone who really knows what they are talking about from BW

OCCATIONALLY you get someone else in BW who's in tech support or some other division who know what they are talking about, but in general most gaming companies tech support are a joke, and it's hard to get trhough to the people you really need to to fix your problem(s).

This game rocks, but never should have been released yet. It needed another 1-2 months of beta testing with 10,000+ people testing it. GREAT game BW, but your Q/A REALLLLY dropped the ball on it.

Even if there was NO DLC yet.. the game is FILLED and I mean FILLED with MASSIVE ammount of game stopping bugs that should have been fixed before it came out.

Me and other people should not have to use the in game scripting functions to help people fix their games, or have people mail us their save game files to repair... or write other tools to fix things... and yes.. I have disassembled the saved games, and I'm working on a tool that will allow the user to say what's broken and have the tool fix it for them. What's sad is, I will probably be done with this tool before BW comes out with a tool of their own and some major patch LOL... this.. is quite sad... they have TEAMS of people being paid 50,000-120K a year to be programers.. and they can't come out with a simple tool to repair a saved game

I think BW was behind on schedule and pushed this game to be out before Xmas TBH

At Grizzly_UK, do you really need additional information regarding what a download link is for? Really??? Read the subject title and inquiry together - still confused? And I take a lack of response as meaning no one else knew how to get it either actually. You do know about the download links for dlc I assume - I saw it wasn't there and obviously fernando knew what I was talking about - right? Anyways no grudge and all just don't see why I should have to defend myself for making a simple inquiry at a tech support forum - I mean if fernando was confused about the inquiry he would of asked me more questions.
