I know, "another one of these threads". But none has delved deep into specualion. And speculation is fun. And I need breaks between real life, Deus Ex: HR, and waiting for the next DA2 DLC. So thanks to the diligence of some of the fans from these very forums we have a starting line so to speak.

There's Est-watch and Wildervale.

Est-watch:

There's a ship. The place is an island. Hopefully we get to see the glorious return of "The Siren's Call" in this DLC. We'll probably be fighting Raiders. I'm imaginng a sandy white beach with crystalline blue waters. A paradise like place. Further in the island turns into a lush green jungle flooded with hostile fauna and booby traps set by Raiders trying to evade whatever kingdom's mercenaries are on their trail. In the heart of the island is a ruin of mysterious origin which serves as the Felicisima Armada's base of operations. Epic fights. Epic story. Isabela. Other pirates. What can possibly go wrong?

Wildervale:

So we have this forest in the middle of the Marches. I'm thinking Merrill is the star of the show in this one. I'm hoping for a Brecialin Forest throwback but better. Mad Hermits and Rhyming Oak Trees included. This will probably involve a Dalish clan and a macguffin of terrible power. I'm looking for a Morrigan or Flemeth easter egg in there some where. Let's face it other than Dalish Keepers they know more abour Elvhen lore than anyone else. I'm still not sure in which direction this one will go as far as story, but I want something 100000 times better than Sundermount. Old foreboding magics and such. More tibits on Fen'Harel like we got from the Magisters and Corypheus. Epic fights. Epic story. Merrill. Fenris. Other Elves. What can possibly go wrong?

Well anybody willing to add to the speculation? What are you anticipating for the next DLC?

I am not sure that we get two lush forests.(Both Jungle and Forest), so I would like the the island to have a different enveriroment than a jungle. (I am all for the ruins and the the raiders, though.)
Do you imagine the dlc to be after end game?

I also expect some kind of Starkhaven dlc which has to be after end game - I think. Intrigues, powerplays and of course the oppotunity to see some of one of the large cities in Kirkwall.

@ esper. True and true. Hopefully the island has more than one "entrance" so that it would be considerably longer. I'm also hoping for a fight in the middle of the Waking Sea. Raiders boarding the Siren's Call II and Hawke's party fighting them off the ship and trying to board the enemy ship. A ship battle! That would be epic! And yes I want it to be post campaign though I do have saves before the end of each act just in case. And yeah two jungles is a bit much.

In Starkhaven I really want Sebastian to be an antagonist. It won't happen because of the variaiables but I did rival him and told Anders to run at the end. I'm eagerly waiting to see what will become of that.

If we need Isabella to captain the ship then when we play might depend on whether she deserts us or not. So far I only have her stay to the end in 1/3 playthroughs.

I'm guessing it'll be like Legacy. It would be optimal to have Isabela along for the ride. Just like Bethany/Carver, Varric, and Anders are the best people to take on Legacy. But it's really up to you who you bring along. Also Isabela doesn't die, ever. Even if you hand her over to the Arishok. She escapes. So she can come back if that's what Mr. Gaider really wants.

Both intriguing ideas, OP.

It would be nice if they could pull off an exotic setting outside Kirkwall, like the ones you came up with.

Personally I'd like to see another major city - done right this time, not as sterile or claustrophobic as Kirkwall.

I guess there will be no post-endgame DLC, I'm pretty sure that BioWare said that you will be able to play the DA2 DLC whenever you want, so I expect an expansion to finish it.

Your Isle DLC would make sense, since my Hawke said that she would "like to go somewhere nice, like a beach." in the beguinning of Legacy.

As for other ideas, there is the Planasene Forest, and it's pretty close to Kirkwall, same as the Vimmark Mountains. It's also possible that Hawke went to another city, like Cumberland or Ostwick, and had something important do to there.

But one thing is sure, the next DLC will show Varric shirtless and it will sell twice as much as DA2 :P

I would pay three times the price of the Legacy...if we get the opportunity to kill Sebastian.
