I'm thinking for a while about it and I can't decide what class I want to play on my first playthrough.
So far my fav are vanguard and infiltrator, but I like soldier too, but it gets boring at times in ME2, but that might change in ME3 (grenades looks pretty awesome ;)).
I know we haven't seen any vanguard and infiltrator gameplays, but no doubts it will rock. ^_^
Maybe this is not such a big deal for some people, but I'm having hard time here deciding what I'm gonna play first, so my ME3 experiance would be as much fun as it can. :D

Anyone else have similar problems?

Probably Sentinel for old times sake, although I like the sound of engineer with the turret/drone combo (I'm waiting to see the gameplay video).

Soldier seems to have the largest number of approaches to combat just like in ME2, so soldier for me.

Engineer is really improved for ME3. Combat drone + stationary turret, sweet stuff. That's what :P

Personally, I'll start with my favorite tank, Sentinel.

The funny thing about the turret is that you're throwing a grenade shaped thing and then the turret unfolds from it when it lands. Sort of like a Pokeball.

I would have said Vanguard, like, a week ago. But i have a new "main Shep" and she's a Soldier, and easily my favourite Shepard. So probably Soldier, i like keeping them the same class they started as. That way i'm less likely to get confused O.o

I'm gonna play like a Vanguard and die like a Vanguard (hope they've revisited the clumsy charge, if they did, than im gonna die less like a Vanguard xD)

Since all weapons are available for all classes, I simply can't see a reason to play as Soldier anymore. Adrenaline Rush is a joke compared to Charge and Tech Armor and I don't think the grenades are really that special.

If your a weapon junkie you'll play as a soldier since they can carry more than anyother class.

Meh.

I only need three weapons at the most, given the situation.

I'm probably going to roll with pistols/SMGs and shotguns, anyway.

I spent most of my Mass Effect game time as an Infiltrator, however on my current playthrough i've switched to Vanguard which i'm quite enjoying.

A sentinel gives a glimpse of both tech and biotic powers and allow some survivability, as I intend to make a first hard playthrough.
