Here is a rather annoying one that has been bugging me for a while, just not go around to it, until recently.

Crank up me server....clunk.. chunter....

Select Server Details~

Server Description:~
Blah de Blah etc

Module Description~
Bleh de Bleh etc.

OK, when I check my server details,  not all the text / info is displayed,  the info is brutally truncated.

Now then, does anyone know where the a tweak is applied to allow more server / module description characters to be displayed.

Many thanks:)

Take out your module description & just use a server description this may give you more room.

If not, take out your server description and only use a module description.

Aye,  that works to a degree:)  However it is still quite limited if you wish to be somewhat comprehensive about the description.  If you look through the description on some modules you will see what I mean.

A few years ago on the old forums,  I came across an article that mentioned there is a way of setting the amount alpha numeric characters that are available.

Twas something like:-

[Server Options]

Server Description Lines=x

I would imagine whatever the command is that it  may be place somewhere in the nwmplayer.ini... then again!

Most big Servers have a forum, so definitely put that in there...

I'd just use a sign, when the PC first enters the module to tell them more about the module.

You mainly need to tell the player if the module requires Haks, CEP etc..

Remember the golden rule.   K.I.S.S.  (Keep it simple silly)
