At the moment Adelaide is fairly small for a city and its not full of slums or too many lower class places and the traffic is really good here so I think it will develop pretty nicely in the ME universe.

I just moved from there four - five months ago.
Lot of potential if the government really tackles early issues starting to arise.

Nonsense, we'll just appoint some more flood (overloop gebieden)area's, higher the dikes and dunes and we'll be fine... Once in a thousand years scenario will hold.Luc0s wrote...

But it will still be there in one way or another, and since it's about 20 meters above sealevel I guess I won't have to worry about floods, unlike twothirds of the rest of the Netherlands.

Ugly medieval buildings like these when we could have American style Malls? Post-modernist scum hamper all progress. At least in the 70's they wanted to modernize and draw highway's through these city centers.
Who needs medieval buildings when we can have progress?

I'm happy they didn't go all the way by filling old town centers with ugly 60's and 70's concrete crap. One Rotterdam is enough. They also succeeded in destroying 80% of pre-worldwar buildings here in Eindhoven in those years and replacing it with horrible piles of stone. The building style of those years is nothing compared to the nice futuristic stuff as seen on Illium or Star Wars's Coruscant.Vanaer wrote...

The rest of the city will also look mostly the same, except the hospitals and colleges will probably merge and have their own damn deck like the city in Deus Ex.
Also, by 2186, the Bruins will have brought Lord Stanley's Cup back here another hundred or so times. The NHL will probably just start keeping it here, in a special building on Charles. It should be safe. The river hasn't caught fire in years.

Shepard arrives almost a year later with a grand fleet to salvage a tiny remnant of the human race, to be placed in a zoo or driven into exile like the quarians for having brought the Reapers upon the galaxy.

Um, why would you want to get rid of medieval architecture when it's part of your country's history..? I mean if it's not an antique structure I'd understand...
