But I won't buy this. There is stylization, and then there is 'looks nothing like the character it is intended to represent.' There's nothing wrong with making a woman sexy like a pinup- but this isn't how to do it. To be honest, it feels like a lack of respect for the franchise.
And to defend it simply on the grounds that it is 'anime style', is ridiculous. And only perpetuates the same misconceptions you're fighting against.

Well, they wouldn't be making them if Bioware hadn't commissioned them to do so, or at least allowed them to do it. If Bioware thought it was lack of 'respect' them I'm sure they wouldn't have showed it off and allowed them to be manufactured.

This is a bishojo figure. Literally 'beautiful girl.' Its suposed to be sexy. If it wasn't sexy it would fail utterly. They made her boobs big and her face is kinda wonky. They could have done MUCH MUCH worse. In fact I'm surprised how faithful the model is to the character.
But for an entire race of creatures made to cater to the 'sexy green alien lady' trope its hardly surprising they made a Bishojo statue. I dig it for what it is. And I'd totally buy it if I had the cash.
