Therefore they are passing judgement on something they probably wouldn't like to begin with. As said the artistic style isn't to everyones taste. The figures look was made apparent from the start with the launch image and people seem surprised that its stuck to it.
OR
People have no intention of buying it because;
1) it looks nothing like Liara
2) The artist's vision of Liara is inconsistant with that of the Mass Effect community

The general hatred here toward huge breasts is VERY concerning! Estrogen in the drinking water?
It's the breasts that are attatched to a 9 year old body and face... Hey if you are attracted to girls that young, all I can say is don't get caught. Big breasts on 9 year old children might be a japanese fetish, but it doesn't make it normal by any means.,..

What..? You complain about ME2 and preach how Bioware is ruining the series, yet you approve of an anime liara with big boobs that seems to be created for pedophiles. I could get a migraine when thinking down to your level.
Wow.. Really.
The asinine comments about how it's made for pedo's because of large breasts is ridiculas, common sense; if pedo's were interested in large breasts they certainly wouldn't be after children now would they?... Sorry but the two things together don't make sense.
I mean it's one thing for the anti-anime crowd to whine and moan about anything relating to anime but apparently that isn't enough so now we have to bring pedo's into it and apparently you think thats going down in level. Might I suggest you look in mirror because according to you now apparently anyone who wants one of these is a most likely pedo.

Yeah, needlessly complaining about the story of ME2 among other things. But lets not derail this thread.

I agree it doesnt look like Liara so it still needs some work. But the general direction of the art was apparent from day one. The concept art shows its direction and if you look at anything by Kotobukiya you can see how the figure would look and the artistic style it takes.

I understand the Bishoujo line is this way so im not surprise.
1: liked the overall body
2: boobs too big
3: face to young.
But again, that is the art style of this line.
If i will get it? I dont know, Mass Effect and Dragon Age lack of products makes me want this.
But will all depends on how much i will have and how much it will cost...
Now guys... IMAGINE an Isabela figure of this line (did they get DA to make too?) just... wow...

This. It's not that I have a problem with big boobs (I don't). The problem is that Liara is simply not that well-endowed. That is a fact that anyone who played ME1 should be able to recognize. The figurine simply is not faithful to her in-game appearance, and that's what a lot of people have a problem with.
I'm sure if someone made a male Shepard figurine that looked like a Gears of War character, we would get a similar response here.

Liara has the face of a 9 year old, along with the unrealistic big ******, it's some sort of japanese fetish that has pedophilia in mind. Turning Liara into a hentai schoolgirl is something for the freaks & geeks.

I agree with this. Well I don't care about the breasts but some people here have endeavors against it so clearly it could use being more subtle. The face also seemed to have had some sort of disconnect between transferring it from a drawing to a figure.

Look at the figurine's face. She looks 9-12 years old to me.

Go figure.
Got nothing against men fixated on the figure / body of women, even if it does get a little silly at times.. it's at least understandable and even natural.
What's not natural is men who are fixated, attracted to or aroused by the concept of a child's face / features attached to the body of a highly sexualized woman...... it begs the question: "Why are you wishing that little girls have sexually desireable bodies?"
That figurine of Liara is very much the face of a child... attached to the body of what could easily pass for a stripper or porn star.... that's... disturbing.

And that would be fine but thats only what a few people are doing, the majority are not saying that instead just lashing out because the word anime has been used, or to them it's loli or made for pedos or for old men with dirty minds/young boys who are horny... Yet their minds are the ones that are dirty because it's them viewing it in a sexual context.

The unpainted face definitely looks more babyish than it should have. The drawing also didn't seem to get the face right, but not quite as bad as the unpainted figure. However, you also said the BODY resembled that of a 9-year-old which is just not true.

I think you need some help. ******, fetish, children, pedos and hentai all mentioned in couple sentences. It clearly is your own mind that has an issue. Seeing things in a perverted way and trying to project your own dirty thoughts and psychological issues onto others.
