 So how do you romance Liara as a femshep? After I finished some mission worlds I talked to Liara and she said that we should deal with relationship stuff after the Reaper threat was dealt with. I always pick paragon options when I talk to people in ME1.

Also, if I finished the game as a level 40 would I be able to rank up to level 60 after I beat all of the side missions? I'm playing a femshep for Mass Effect 2 and 3. I already have a paragon maxed out maleshep for the trilogy.

You romance Liara with femShep in more or less the same way as with mShep.

You'll need to finish mid-50s in your first playthrough to be able to get to level 60 in your second playthrough.

romancing Liara as a femshep is identical to romancing Liara as a maleshep. you just get like one extra sentence. just recruit her as soon as you can, be nice to her, tell her you feel like there's something between you too and talk to her after every mission. if you've come to the conversation loop - that means you are done for now. if she shows up at the lockers when Normandy is grounded? you got the romance active.

If it is your very first play through, the level caps at 50. If it's just the first playthrough with a character and you are very completionist, get out of the Mako to kill stuff, and generally don't pass up on any experience, you can get to 57 or maybe 58 with the DLC.

If you don't romance Kaidan then it's near impossible to avoid a Liara ninjamance at least from my experience. My last ME play through I was an ass to Kaidan and to Liara (yelled at her for looking at Shep's history which kills the romance) and yet my next convo with Liara was about the Asari mating rituals. Kind of like they completely forgot about what happened the last time they talked.

Same way you do it as Mshep. Talk to her in the med bay when you pick her up, and after each major plot mission ( I think you technically only need to do this 3 times, but I check after every misssion to be sure). Viola. 1 blue space babe served up in your quarters.
