No flame wars please its all preference.
Personally it depends for me. Mass effect 1 i prefer on pc due to fact it was really well done port. Mass effect 2 was a meh port with not much changes it was likely finished in just a few days since it almost 100% same.
Do you prefer mas effect on pc or consoles?

Prefer most games on PC, Mass Effect included, which is proving to suck hard atm, considering all the bad ports coming out :/
Use console for games like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus

Depends on the game most PC games that I've played lately, Dead Space 2, AC II and Brotherhood, ME 1 and 2, The Witcher 2 and many others have been great on PC.
As to the topic PC all the way controls and graphics are way better.

Considering I'm terrible at PC games, Xbox. But I've always been more of a console person.

PC's. I always do one play through with no mods. Sometimes more, depending on the game. But eventually, I always start fooling around with mods. Makes the replay value go way up. I wouldn't have played ME2 anywhere near as many times as I did if I couldn't skip planet scanning, for example.

Originally had ME and ME2 for Xbox. A few months later I bought both for PC when I got one that could run it, and never touched it on Xbox again.

PC.
I like mods, precise controls, and eyefinity (I have to move my monitors so they're in portrait mode because landscape doesn't work for ME2 for some reason and moving the monitors to portrait can be a bit of a faff, but it's still awesome. Bloody U2711's

PC. I can't aim at all on consoles. It is funny when I play games like halo with my friends but when I have actual goals it sucks and I throw things at the screen.

For me Xbox. PCs have the disadvantage of using a mouse or track pad to aim, impacting fluidity everytime you pick the mouse up. Also, the sensitivity of movement on the PC is far worse. You can only move at one speed unless you're holding down another key. Controllers are pressure sensitive. Lastly, I can play console games on my big screen TV on the couch instead of at a desk.
Oh yeah, and equipping yourself with a PC that can run all the games you want is a pain in the ass.

Xbox. I don't know why, but it feels awkward when I play shooters on a PC.

Xbox. I suck at controlling characters with a mouse and keyboard, I am way too used to the Xbox controller.

I perfer console (360 in particular) just because it more simpler for me to use and at times using a PC for a shooter can be a bit awkward for me but PC does have it pros

Console. Play on PS3. If the ME games had controller suppport, Id play on PC. I even on ME on PC but wont play it do to no controller support. No game should be played with a keybord and mouse...At least that's how I feel. Started gaming with Atari and stayed on consoles. I do play Vindictus on PC and Dragons Nest, but I play those MMOs with a controller as well. The Witcher, Batman etc, Ive played on PC due to them having gamepad support. If all bioware games would shape up and allow the option for gamepad support, Id go PC all the way. I have a gaming PC. I just need games to support a controller and Ill be set.

PC no contest. I actually bought ME2 for the 360 so I could continue my character (I bought a 360 just to play the original), traded it in that day and bought the PC version. The interface is way better and the 360's up-converted 720p is horrendous compared to what my PC can run the game at.
Thank god for the ME saves database.

I have always played on the Xbox, mainly because I have never played any games on P.C. and I seriously doubt I would be capable of playing well with a mouse and keyboard.
The better graphics and modding have always tempted me. I know that Gibbed's save editor can be put on Xbox but I have always been to nervous to do it out of fear of my account getting in trouble.
I guess I'll always just be in that kind of limbo.

This is all very interesting. A subject for study, I think.
Do the rest of you console prefer-ers have a similar story? Or are you members of the GoldenEye/Halo generation (people who grew up playing shooters on consoles)?
I grew up with an NES, then moved on to an SNES and then an N64... but I also played Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, Unreal, etc. on PC. As a result, mouse and keyboard just feels easier and more intuitive for shooters. GoldenEye was probably my favorite N64 game, but the controls just felt wonky in comparison to PC shooters.
