I would love it if Bioware incorporated LI romances for crew members amongst each other too. It is very odd that the only one who can have romance is Shepard and the one he/she chooses the rest are single and bitter for not being picked or single and not bitter for not being picked but single all the same.

Why can't Tali for example fall for Joker or Liara fall for Miranda or Garrus as examples. Meanwhile Shepard picked Grunt or something. It seems odd that the only one with any romance is the one who gets to be with Shepard. What about the rest of the crew or are they supposed to die alone and single because they weren't picked?

lol no I was being serious... Why must all the companions be single and possibly die single just because Shepard did not choose them. I honestly hand on heart would prefer the crew could have their own relationships bloom while part of the story.

I'd rather them not hook up with each other either. There are other people in the galaxy. The only people that I can see starting relationships with each other anyways is Jacob/Miranda, Jacob/Kasumi, and Kelly/Anyone. The rest don't make much sense and would be incredibly forced. Sure, I know relationships form, but too many and the ship gets crowded with too much stuff I don't care about. I mean I really don't want to go talk to Grunt and hear him say "you know, Sheperd, what's this feeling in my stomach that I get every time I'm around Jack? The strangest part, is that I feel something funny near my legs. Help."

Love boat Normandy would rule. Paint hippie flowers and "make love, not war" on the side in fluorescent colours and tweed curtains inside glass instead of of metalic shutters. I am surprised though no-one else feels same way as myself but it's not the end of the world.

Shepard could cause epic emotional problems with crew members if he/she breaks up erm lets say..Miranda's relationship with Legion lol

They sort of hint at some relationships forming; Jacob and Kasumi. I doubt we would see anything, though I understand your point. I personally wouldn't mind because I would make fun of Kasumi and ask if she's hiding in the shadow's while Jacob is doing his ab workout lol.

I think it mainly has to do with resources and the fact that it's Shepard's story, as some would argue.

However Miranda and Jacob could get back together maybe, Jack and Grunt would make great couple. As for Tali well she and Garrus, Liara and Mordin. Legion and EDI. The rest I'm not sure about. But surely they deserve to have some love and final sensual and sexual moments before they die like Shepard has each time at end of titles. I think it would improve the story writing if could have crew forming relationships along side Shepards one with someone. Doesn't have to be all hitch up and have orgy or anything silly but just other members of the crew caring about another member for once not all being about Shepard and who he chooses.

True, forming friendships and such. That's the only thing that's really missing in the series, at least in my perspective. This is why I'm hoping with ME3, they'll work with the relationships of the whole crew, so we can get a sense of people either caring or not liking each. Though, they do have some situations where this is executed: Legion and Tali, Jack and Miranda, Edi and Joker. Those are some good instances of people either developing a friendship or at least knowing that they're their for the ride till whatever happens, but this can also be influenced with their own relationship with Shepard and having them understand his perspective of each individual. I'm sort of hoping for some type of re-occurrence with Miranda and Jack, since I love both characters and since Jack is my LI, I'm hoping to help her understand that not every Cerberus person is out to get her. Even though Jack and I have similar views towards Cerberus in gerneral, there other perspectives to consider.

We'll just have to wait and see since Bioware did mention they're working on the banter for ME3.

I deffinatly hope so, but I do feel and this bit you might not agree with given she is your LI.. That Jack and Grunt or Wrex would make a better couple. She could let out her rage and anger and Grunt/Wrex is big enough and strong enough to take it and given the nature of the beast figuratively speaking he would probably very much enjoy that aggression in a relationship. Bit like Deep Space 9 ~ Jadzia Dax and Worf. :happy:

EDI and Legion would make great couple given the compatability or the two machines interfacing for cybersex.

Miranda and Jacob already had a relationship in the past if I recall so that starting up again isn't something that seems out of the question. As for the rest it is more observation about personality types that seem like would be good match. As long as I got Kasumi I would love it if the rest found happiness with other members or even outside the crew itself.

Like it has been stated, I wouldn't necessarily limit the relationships of squad members to solely those aboard the Normandy. It would be interesting to hear of or see someone's significant others in other places.

But I doubt this will ever be implemented.

Like I said I would be just as happy if they formed relationships outside of the crew too. I'm just tired of everything always revolving around who Shepard fancies, who Shepard picks and everyone else gets nothing.

Basically it's a bit like asking why everybody comes to Shepard for their loyalty missions instead of just forming a squad and dealing with it while you are off doing something else.

The game is an ego massage for the player.

Personally, I do think it would actually be pretty cool if a one of your shipmates blew you off in favor of an NPC, I would get a good laugh out of it, but sadly the game isn't likely to ever integrate such a feature

Not really an issue for me if they were doing it in their own quarters. If they banging in yours then would be an issue.

Bit rude for them to make out in your room as opposed to their own but them hooking up I'm completley for it.

its silly to think that people would break the regs against fraternization. besides, like ashley said:

To let everyone else escape, someone is ordered "hold this spot until we're gone." Someone has to be left behind. You think it's going to be someone you're sleeping with?

Plus, if that person you sleep with did die, it would put you off your mission, and possibly future LI's
