Greetings, BioWare.
I contacted the support team about this, and they advised me to post my suggestion here. I have also submitted it to them, and they told me that they will forward it to the "appropriate team". So here is my suggestion.
I suggest you create a DLC pack with the Armor Shepard was wearing when he died. I mean the one he was wearing aboard the SSV Normandy when it was under attack by a Collector cruiser. I suggest you make a Helmet, Shoulders, Chestpiece and Legs/greaves. I have also come up with a message from the Illusive Man:
"From: Illusive Man
To: Shepard
Shepard, one of our teams found the remains of the SSV Normandy. They found the Statue you had placed, but they also found something else. They reported parts of your old armor. They managed to create one again, so I am sending it to your cabin. Feel free to use it as you wish."
I think you should call it "Shepard's Armor", like Shepard's Helmet, Chestpiece, Shoulders and legs. It will be a great adition to the game!
Please read this and act as you wish.

With ME3 already on the way I doubt they'll do this.
It's a really nice idea but I don't think Bioware will do it.

We'll see. I hope they will do it. Also, do you know if that helmet is available in ME1?

Not a bad idea, but what would be the armor's stats?
Extra ammo, extra biotic or tech damage, extra reserve ammo, melee is more powerful, etc....
Specifics?

It depends. If they decide to make it. If it is a non-customizable armor, like Terminus Assault Armor, I believe like this:
Health +20%, according the fact that Shepard was able to breath out in open space, before it malfunctioned.
Weapon reserve ammo +15%
Heavy Weapon ammo +20% (Only 2 ammo, if I'm correct.
Or, if they decide to make it piece by piece, like Kestrel Armor, Like this:
Shepard's N7 Helmet: 10% health, increases sniper rifle damage by 15%
Shepard's N7 Chestpiece: 15% Health, increases shields by 10%
Shepard's N7 Shoulders (Sorry , don't remember original name): 5% Health, increases melee damage by 15%
Shepard's N7 greaves ( Don't remember name either):5% health, increases shields by 10%
In overall, we get 35% health , 20% shields, 15% melee damage and 15% Sniper rifle damage.

That would be one Bad A** piece of Armor. I would definitely like something with that high of stats. Those stats are pretty high.

I'm not really a fan of DLC...I'm not online. So, unless you could download this kind of stuff onto a USB stick then access via your console, I wouldn't be in favour of it.
What I WOULD be in favour of...the kind of content you get on DLC...BUT ON THE DISC! Some companies release "Game of the year edition" which has DLC kind of stuff ON THE DISC. That is cool and that is what I look out for.

Most RPG's these days do that. DA:O got an ultimate edition, ME2 for the PS3 had built in DLC, and Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion has a GOTY edition, Fallout, etc....
I really like the fact that games do this. It allows late comers to enjoy the game in all its glory at a discounted price. I will probably play Elder Scrolls 5, but with so many games coming out, I can wait over a year for the GOTY edition, and get all the added content for free.
While RPG's do this, many shooters do not. BFBC2 did, but that is about it. No one ever sees a COD game get a ultimate edition, since activision is so greedy, but luckily the majority of games I play, get a special edition
I saw that Red Dead Redemption is getting an ultimate edition. Will definitely pick that up, since I never played it.
