The problem is that it isn't gender neutral, it's clearly masculine-looking. I'd honestly like to see a woman who walks with her arms out like that.

Srsly. ME1 was neutral. It looked natural. And when on earth did it become a terrible thing to walk/sit/run like a woman?

I hoped you'd get it! I didn't want to end up explaining how it wasn't an insult. XD

They both walked like gorillas in ME2; the problem is that FemShep had a smaller frame so the gorilla-walk looked even more ridiculous.

Yep.

However, since her shoulders are nowhere near as broad as BroShep's and she's not as tall, some weeiiirrd things happen every now and then.

The fact that it's a different skeleton should merit tweaked animations.  It'd at least do something about the clipping.

^Perhaps a big and muscular femShep would solve the problem? No probably not and I doubt there are that many of us fans of musclegirls among potential buyers anyway....

FemShep's arms could be a bit less noodley, but I really don't think we need She-Hulk.  She's hot, but ehhh...

Overly muscular women make me barf. I'd take some unrealistic pornstar Femshep over this garbage anyday.

No way in hell would my femShep wear a dress. I couldn't wait to get her out of that thing. I know I wouldn't be caught dead in the thing. The gorilla walk was too much, even in her coveralls and armor. BW really needs to send someone who works on gaits to a women's bar and study body language for the less feminine.

The leg crossing thing is more than a bit much. Yikes. I kind of pictured her like Ellen Ripley on Alien at her most feminine, but still a bit on the butch side. Still any woman knows how to sit in a skirt especially a dress that short. They needed to make her act very uncomfortable in it.

The dress was pretty bad though considering every single other woman at Hock's party was in a LONG dress. A major fashion faux pas. The gait and stuff should be keyed to her outfit.

But look at the bright side.... If they survive this thing, she'll probably have to put the old commando leathers on for her mate ever now and again, just to embarass the kids.

Christ alive. The dress that femShep wears is incredibly modest! It goes almost to her knees, and her bust isn't hurled at the players face. It's the kinda dress a woman could wear anywhere and be taken seriously.

Its just annoying how when she sits down, the dress spreads open.

Sometimes I feel like a lot of you on this forum are complete social recluses, who get your intel on the modern world via Discovery Channel.

Shotgun never mentioned "modesty." She/he/it said it was a fasion faux pas.

And it would be hard to take someone wearing a leather dress that goes to the knees seriously, when everyone else is in a dress that is floor-length.

Not if we can rationalize it by saying that the NPCs are using recycled costumes, and femShep gets to stand out :-/

The most annoying thing about this are the people who say "its the military and the military is manly period"
Sooooooo women should open their legs when their wearing skirts because thats the manly way to do it? Oh right if its manly why is she wearing a skirt in the first place?
Give me a break I'm not asking for uber hip swaying like DA2 but some animations that sit them apart is far from asking too much.

Yeah She Hulk, incredibly hot as she sometimes is, would be out of place in ME. I don't mind femShep as she is though, even with the small flaws she have.

Why didn't they just bring over ME1 animations? Both used Unreal Engine 2, didn't they?

Also, what does the Hawke walk look like? I've never played DA2, but everyone seems to find it ridiculous.

I actually liked FemHawke’s walk, though I will admit I may be the minority. I saw a lot of people say it didn’t fit her, which is ridiculous. She is a new character and she fit my mage and rogue perfectly. Some people said it was too much sway, but meh. I thought it was fine.

I find it lol and awesome that Shep will have a hoodie in ME3; that's like the most univere-breaking thing over, considering the stunning conformity in clothing.

No, femShep should be in a dress and wear white gloves and a hat.

Carol Sharkey (born April 5, 1940) was a former model, the mother of Rock musician Jon Bon Jovi, and one of the first Playboy Bunnies. She worked as a florist before enlisting in the United States Marines.

Now she's an old retired playboy bunny in a military uniform who plants flowers to pass the time.

Probably something about how women Marines can be good looking.
