Or we could have shep kill the pony and then have a Normandy BBQ.

This thread is made of derp. Lots and lots of subjective derp.

FemShep shouldn't need to worry about conforming to attitudes and behavioral patterns typical of men in that diverse of an environment.

It isn't a matter of worry or need. People's posturing and physical quirks are defined by the people they are around throughout their life, it causes an immense impact if a child spends hours a day, for years, with a single person. Example:

World class female Gymnasts with male coaches tend towards masculine posturing, because they spend the majority of their time, for years, around their coach their masculinity rubs off on them on a SUBCONSCIOUS level. The girls won't even notice that their entire physical posturing is a mimic of their coach's.

Edit: I'm not saying that every child grows up as an exact mimic of someone, but prolonged exposure to the same person, or gender, and their mannerisms is more likely to make that child grow up with posturing similar to that person.

That's completely unrelated to FemShep being girly or not, but i figured i'd point it out.

Yep.  Not wanting to make femShep "girlie."  Just adhere to the laws of physics.

Just want to say:  Good work on that femshep.  Looks like a real person.

I like the new red head Femshep better. She looks more like a bad ass. Like Agent Tex.

Thank you.  I get a lot of complements on UJ like that. That she looks “real.” And that’s what I was going for.

Noooooo, nooooo, nooooooo! Keep Marian Hawke's swagger away from my femShep! Besides, there are far more pressing matters on her mind than learning how to "walk like a real woman." She'll walk however she damn well pleases, and in the end, she'll still save the galaxy. She's awesome like that. Image IPB

Real is ok, but she needs to be about 20% cooler.

Might I suggest a pic where she's punching the crap out of a belligerant Blue Sun?

I only asked that they sized femShep better. There are times in ME2 that her frame looked awkward;over broad shoulders. Better too if they don't make the char swagger in an exaggerated manner;asinine for both genders. Image IPB

She's a vanguard. She doesn't punch merchs, she sends merchs into another time zone.   ;)

anway, getting a bit OT here.

Only because it was

a) needlessly hostile

B) out of context. You just kind of.... dropped that in there without talking about what you were referring to.

My favorite FemShep is so not feminine. No thanks.

Other than that, I did miss the femininity of FemShep that was slightly lacking in ME2

They should just work harder at making a normal looking walk. Men and women don't walk that differently, bioware just suck at making walking animations.

The sway of a woman's hips is due to having a wide pelvis. HOWEVER This varies from woman to woman. Not all women develop a wide pelvis and may even develop a pelvis more like a mans. This leads to birth complications and misidentification of gender when it's a completely rotted corpse or mummy.

It's just like how some women have large breasts and some women are as flat as a board. To assume a woman is not "feminine" because her hips don't sway when she walks is not right.

I personally find it entertaining and suiting to femShep. I think the dress thing is friggen hilarious. In situations where she's sitting, if you have a problem with it, it's your fault for making Shepard wear a short dress and heels at an inappropriate time. I don't even see why it would make any sense at all that after coming back from that pain in the butt solo mission, Shepard would get into that dress and heels to visit Doctor Chakwas. Actually, after any mission at all, you'd think her legs and feet would be killing her. Why put the friggen heels on, it's only going to make it worse.

Bioware didn't put her sitting with her legs open anywhere in Kasumi's mission where the dress was intended to be worn. Unless you flycam the opening scene. Which even then, it's not suppose to be seen.

RAWR MONSTERS

Both Shepard's need their walk fixed, they both limp like their injured and overall unnaturally, but FemShep doesn't need to walk like she's on the cat walk everywhere so she can be deemed properly "feminine".

This topic should have been done with after someone told the OP that BioWare recycled the same physics for FemShep as MaleShep.

I'm gonna miss the awkward walking animations. They fit, in a way. I wouldn't want her to be girlier. What kind of fighter would wear a cocktail dress and high heels in a goddamn space ship?
