Who've you got in your profile? :) Do you know what kind of character build they're going to have? What's their origin? Have you thought about any kind of other story to their background or do you just play for the sake of playing and forget stuff like RP or making up your own story (which is totally fine, Bioware does a great job of writing their own story, IMO)?

I've seen so many cool and interesting looking profile pics in reading the forums the last few days that I'm interested in what people have come up with! (And I hope I'm not duplicating an older thread but I haven't seen one yet)

My profile pic is of Kallian, a city elf rogue. I'm not sure if I'm going to use this character on my first run through, but I like the way she looks in a portrait, so she gets the coveted profile pic slot. :)

(And Happy Halloween, all!)

Janus, Dwarven Noble Rogue
Duelist/Assassin
Shale, Wynne, and Dog (Kismet)
Morally Goodish
16 in Cunning, the rest in Dex;
the 4 levels of Persuasion first, then Duel Weilding talents
Memory Band, Band of Fire, Embri's Many Pockets, Amulet of the War Mage, Bergen's Honor, (for starters)
Straight; Leliana over Morrigan
Ordering Wardens Keep asap.

With a personality that one might expect commanding a starship instead of inside a dwarf, his respect for himself & others and a exploritory spirit are pressed in on by malcontents and misunderstandings that he quite equiped to deal with no hesitation.

Wow, you've got it really figured out. :P I'm winging it a bit my first time through, I think, but it's hard to resist the temptation to plan (since that's all we can really do until Tuesday). :D

Camilia Tabris, City Elf Rogue

She will be an Archer that focuses in single target attacks first, then some melee archery.

Bard/Duelist

Party of Dog, Alistair, and Wynne.

Romance with Alistair if it feels right.

Skills will be Coercion, Combat Training, maybe some trap making.

Talents will be Lockpicking and Archery

Camilia is a naive, innocent girl who is a traditionalist. She enjoys her life, especially when her friends and family are happy, but learned at a young age to talk her friends out of trouble, often taking the blame herself. She is very altruistic, though it is not necessarily out of a want to help, more out of ignorance of consequences. She is easily walked over and does not enjoy causing problems with anyone, but when her friends or her community is hurt her demeanor changes drastically, she becomes hardened and is very willing to cause harm.

First time I have a hard time planning things out.. But im going for Human Noble(Though I would prefer a more "Normal" human)

Not much of a story planned out, except maybe a bit spoiled, but wants to do good, lazy but with the right "carrot on a string" he can go on, kind of loosely taking traits from me.

I still wish I knew if ponytails moves though so I could decide on which hairstyle to get <.<

I'm going with Sword/shield, becouse if I lived in that time, I'd feel more safer with a shield on one hand :P

I can't do much more than think of my guy as a slightly cocky arrogant guy, who is Human Nobel, and other than that not much planed, gonna just see how I feel as the game goes, he may get humbled, or angry, or very good, anything could happen depending on how I feel the story plays out for him.

I plan on making a human noble(warrior), he gets a bit jaded and I will leave all decisions made by flipping a coin. Yeah i know its a bit of a two face thing but I think it will lead to an intresting story. I just hope it doesn't back fire on me. I chose the whole coin thing cause I know as someone outside the game I wouldn't make a choice soley on what my character would do. i would be influnced by party make up and stratagy. I am going to try it on normal this way but i might have to go easy if things leave me with a wierd party make up.

She is actually a Dalish (the tatoos) City Elf, her family was slain and clan
scattered during a raid 6 years ago. She was captured and brought to
Denerim and put in the alienage. She has few friends, (being Dalish)  her heritage makes her feel like an outsider. Though the City Elves treat her kindly, she thinks only about escaping the alienage and finding her clansmen, if any are still around.

Perhaps her chance will come soon!

Daruniken (shown at left) will be my main most likely.

I plan to be a dual wielding warrior with berserker specialization this is depending on if more than just daggers can be used in the off hand (I'm hoping for a small axe or hammer instead of dagger)

Daruniken is a dwarf noble who has recently discovered a hidden rage within him that has been brought out by the recent political happenings in his family. He is not insane but has an inner fire that burns to show he has something to prove. He rebels against his noble birth, ritualistically shaving his head, in order to show them that there is more to politics and nobility. He must admit that he does wish to retake his rightful place at the throne but only ig his reign can be a much different one.

I plan to try to romance Morrigan or Leliana as another way of rebelling against his family.

My character is an elven mage, and those are given. The problem is that no matter how I think of her she keeps coming off as a brooding scowlyface. And damn this is uninspring. I don't know why it's happening, I've even tried character making questionnaires, still the same result. I'll need to give her a more fundamental make-over, perhaps even a tattoo :o

Sheylan is a Dalish elf rogue.

She is bitter and angry with humans over their crimes against her people.

However she realizes that not all humans are too blame, in particular she sympathizes with mages for the restrictions placed on them.

She will probably team up with Shale, Morrigan, and either Zevran or dog. and

She prefers too fight with daggers.

Astalder is a Dalish Elf Ranger (rogue).

This'll generally be a "me" play-through, so neutral good and I won't be robbing everyone blind.

Will use a Longbow almost exclusively, with a Longsword backup (if that's technically viable).

Party: Alistair (tank), Sten (melee dps), Morrigan (dps/heals) probably, and my Ranger pet (wolf whenever technically viable).

Romance: Probably Morrigan since I'll be grouped with her, unless our relationship sours.

3 attribute points per lvl 2-22.
1 skill point per lvl 2-22.
1 talent point per lvl 2-22.

Strength: 20 by lvl 10 (req for best leather).
Dexterity: 34 by lvl 17 (req for best longbow).
Willpower: 24 by lvl 22 (stamina).
Magic: 20 by lvl 20 (for potions).
Cunning: 20 by lvl 14 (only 16 req for coercion)
Constitution: 24 by lvl 22 (health).

Dirty Fighting at lvl 0, Combat Movement at lvl 6, Coup De Grace at lvl 12.
Stealth at lvl 18.
Archery: Fully trained by lvl 17.
Ranger: Fully trained by lvl 21.
Assassin: Fully trained by lvl 22.

Coercion: Fully trained by lvl 6 (a personal compromise required for my primary character).
Trap Making: Fully trained by lvl 14.
Survival: Fully trained by lvl 13.
Poison Making: Fully trained by lvl 18.
Combat Training: Fully trained by lvl 15.
Combat Tactics: Fully trained by lvl 22.

Dwarf Noble, Warrior
Name: Dvergar
Party Members: Wynne, Oghren, Morrigan

Stats lvl 1: 18str, 14 dex, 10 will, 10 magic, 10 cunning, 17 con
Stats lvl 5: 26str, 15 dex, 10 will, 10 magic, 10 cunning, 20 con
Stats lvl 10: 26str, 24 dex, 10 will, 10 magic, 12 cunning, 25 con

After level 10 I may start adding some extra points into will so I have more stamina to work with since I want to be able to use war cries from my champion specialization while still maintaining threaten to keep/build hate (also may add 2 more points to cunning so I can take third tier of coercion). From there I will be pumping my STR up to at least 32, my dex to at least 25, and then focusing a nice amount on STR/CON.

Skills: Going Coercion at lvl 1, then third combat training at lvl 4. Coercian again at 7, then final combat training at 10

Talents will go in this order:
Shield Balance, Shield pummel, Threaten, Shield Wall, Overpower, lvl 7 = ?, Bravery, lvl 9,10, 11 are unknown, but 12 will be Shield Expertise. Levels 7, 9, 10, and 11 will most likely be Shield Block, Shield Cover, Shield Tactics, and then I will hold off from spending my lvl 11 talent so at lvl 12 I can take both Shield Mastery, and Shield Expertise

For specializations I plan on going Reaver/Champion so I can get frightening appearance for extra hate, and all of the AOE knockdowns. I only plan on spending 2 points in Reaver, and at least 2 in Champion, possibly all 4. I will not be taking specialization points till level 14.

My character is a pure tank which I plan on main healing with Wynne, and back up healing with morrigan who will have the basic heal spell.

Dalish Elf
Warrior

Being an outsider, his personallity is quite laid back, careless, humorous type of a guy. Although, his ego and stuborness he truly care for his friends and beloved. He is proved to be quite intelligent when he feels like it.

Trained as every warrior in his clan, with bow and a sword. He handles the tools quite well, though maybe a bit clumsy compared to his other dalish elves, often underestimated in battles. (That's his trademark, as it makes a good opening for him to attack and show of some skills)

Uhm. Nathan, Noble Rogue. Probably your average douchebag/Han Solo, neutral-good on morals but lacks empathy for the week minded. I couldnt care less about planning my skill/talents level by level, just going for coercion/poison/tactics/Lethality(first) and high Cunning/Dex. Either Assassin or Duelist, Im not sure yet.

Me(melee dps/CC/debuffs)/Alistar(tank)/Leliana(ranged support). Im not 100% on Morrigan or Wynn for the last spot, depends on how I like them and how customizable their talents are.

I thought that might be the case but I haven't been able to confirm it.  Means Trap Making and Combat Tactics will go away probably.  Figure if I need lockpick/traps/etc I can rotate someone into the party.

Ta'Sharra, Human Noble.

Took me forever playing in the character creator to make a half decent looking Ta'Sharra. I've use that name in most RPGs on my first playthrough seeing as how she's my favourite. Even with all that work I still can't get her 'hard' enough. I like to make Ta'Sharra have very masculine features yet still beautiful.

Sadly I only managed this:

Posted Image

Compared to say this from Mass Effect.

Mmm I love her.

Anywhos. She is going to be a Bard, because I love them. The original Ta'Sharra from Neverwinter Nights II was a Tiefling Bard. <3

She's usually Chaotic Neutral. The type that looks after "me and mine" first and foremost. No qualms about killing or robbing someone. That said she's no problem being kind too if it suites her purposes!

Jhana Tabris

She's a dark skinned city elf rogue focusing on stealth based melee fighting.

Skills: 1 Stealing, Maxed Out Coercion, Combat Training, and some Poison Making.

Talents: Dirty Fighting 3, Below the Belt 4, Stealth 3, Dual Weapon Training 4, Dual Striking 2, Dual Weapon Sweep 1, Duelist 4, Assassin 3, in more or less that order of priority.

Party: Leliana, Morrigan and Shale.

-Shale will be the main Tank, using the Stoneheart path and eventually Precise striking to draw threat.

-Leliana will be used as an archery based utility rogue with maxed out Deft Hands. She will also make and set traps, have some skill in survival, and possibly stealth.

Morrigan will be the healer/entropy mage. She'll finish out the two entropy chains she has half completed already (Drain life and Disorient) while learning Heal, Rejuvenate, and classing over to Spirit Healer at level 14 for Group Heal. If possible, she'll also finish out her Shapeshifter levels to have a melee option to fall back on. Morrigan will also be our Herbalist and have some Combat Tactics.

<--Adora Cousland, Human Noble Rouge.

Adora is spoiled, being the youngest and only daughter of the Couslands. As a child, her elvish nursemaid taught her how to poison, figuring that it was a skill every young noblelady needed to know. Her favorite past-time includes playing with her war hound, pestering her brother, and being spoiled by her loving parents.

Adora has no idea how the other half of the world--especially elves--lives, but she's about to learn. I expect to be able to choose dialogue griping about the lack of silk to sleep on and griping about the ugliness of the Grey Warden armor. XD Despite her spoiled and vain nature, Adora is fairly altruistic. Once she realizes how awful elves and even poorer humans have it, she makes it her duty to try and improve their lot in life, no matter what the law says. (Neutral-Good). I expect she will be very poor for most of the game.

She is very persuasive and was known back in Highever Castle to be able to charm the pants off of anyone. She plans to befriend everyone, from the assassin Zevran to the dark-hearted Morrigan, though it may be difficult.

Her typical party will include Alistair, Wynne, and either Dog/Sten/Shale, depending upon who is stronger and works best with her.

Marrek, Human Noble Warrior

Weapon and shield (going to be the tank of the party)

Probably going to spec Champion, haven't decided yet, I need to see the skills each spec has to offer.

As for morality, I guess I'll go for a more badass attitude, not necassarily a hardcore evil guy, just someone who knows how to get the job done and benefit from it at the same time.

Ivo, human mage. I would like a good resource on how to strategize my point allocation, etc.
