Is there a way to revive dead party members during a fight other than using the spirit healer's spell?
Any other method of revival?

I noticed there is no condition of unconscious in the tactics menus to have your healer cast it
Other than having it set to go off at allies health less than 10 and pray it works or doing it yourself manually
it needs to be added in in a patch

Why does it 'need' to be added. Works perfectly fine as it is now, indeed, it works as intended.

I mean, there's really just the one thing you can do to a party member who is dead. Cast revive or don't. So they *could* add it to the tactics status, but I don't think it's too much for the game to ask you to be able to take care of your own dead. Auto-reviving would be handy, but a little superfluous.

Works perfectly? it doesnt work at all
there is no condition to trigger it correctly in the tactics menues

That was my exact point... you don't need a condition to trigger it because if someone is dead there is only thing you can possibly do and I don't think it's bad game design to not hold your hand for that part. Like I said in my post above, yes it would it would be handy but it's hardly necesarry. It's a lot of work to add a new tactics status and condition for an action that can only performed one way under one exact set of circumstances.
You just don't need auto-Revive. You might think you do, but you are in fact wrong LOL.

You made a mistake in choice of words not dead just unconscious
Not everyone wants to jump from 1 toon to the other
Thats part of the reason the tactics was put in
so you could fine tune how the party behaves
if you open up the healers tactics screen
open Ally then status you will notice something like 11 states
unconscious is not among them
Revival tho is listed as one ability to be used
You are the one that is wrong here

bla. bla. bla. wah. wah. wah.
this game is too hard, i actually have to select a character and use it's abilities sometimes, wtf.
it lists Revive because it lists all possible abilities. If you're really such a lazy pathetic ****ing n00b, just set it to cast on people with less than 10 %HP because they will more than likely be dead by the time the spell goes off.
arguging about the (completely arbitrary) difference between unconcious and dead does not change the fact that this is pointless whining. Just cast Revive on dead characters. If you can't be bothered to that, the fault lies within you.

I set Wynne to cast revive when health was below 10 and for the most part it worked. I"d get killed, flip to the next Character down, and then notice my PC was back on his feet.
The Revive cast isn't the problem...the problem is you have to make sure Wynne isn't burning through mana so fast that if you DO get killed she's too weak to revive you. Make sure she knows to chug a potion now and again.
Good Luck

I do that as well but its still hit or miss
For a professional, outlaworacle your attitude towards the way others like to play is very poor
I noticed it in another of your posts as well

I don't know who told you I was a professional, but I'm not. I do design games but not professionally. It's not a matter of caring how people play the game, it's just a giant eyeroll when people "need" certain features added to the game because it is literally too much trouble for them to cast one spell.

Perhaps it is because their would be no way of determining who gets the spell if multiple characters go down, so they just leave it up to you to decide that. You cant cast spells on specific party members from the tactics screen just given conditions.
