Hi there!

System in short is:
ASUS P6X58D-E
i7 930 (OC or no dont matter for the prob)
3x 2GB 1600 MHz Dominators
GTX 590
Win7 x64 Ultimate

Im replaying ME1 atm and having these flickering light/shadow oncasts on certain parts of my char. Face and weapon models mostly. Its happening on several maps, not all tho. Patched to either 1.01 / 1.02 or vanila 1.00 dont matter. DLC content on or no, default settings or heavily modded .INIs (with proper care focused on the shadow department), no change. Tried brand fresh install with newly created config files by the game. No. It consistently stays right as much and at the same spots and maps, spittin on any manipulation.

Knowing how much its zappin my mind i dont think i would have had this the last time i played the game and wouldnt feel like de ja vu now, tho that was ~3 years ago.

If I had to guess, I would say dynamic shadows, or your screen resolution. Unless it is a game breaker, you may just want to ignore it and play the game. Some of the later video drivers also do weird things with ME, but that wouldn't be my first suspect.

Have you tried using different Nvidia drivers to rule out it being a driver issue?

Aight thx for the input. Not dynamic shadows. At least its the same with either the ingame setting turned on/off or via .ini DepthBias. What do you mean by resolution? Tried the newest nvidia driver as well as a one earlier than mine. No avail.

Sure ill drop snoopin for a solution sooner than later (its not gamebreaking), but before then... Anyone who reads this, any other place you know it'd be a good idea to throw this on at would be all right to know cause 17 views wont bail me out i dont think so (not ****in at anyone far from it).
