Can i run mass effect 2 smoothly?

Hi im new here i just wanted to ask can this pc run ME2 ? please dont tell me to upgrade things because those are the upgrades to my pc :D

Motherboard:ASUS P7H55-M Pro
Card:XFX Nvidia GeForce 9400GT 512MB  Ram:4GB ram DDR3  Processor:Intel Core i3 540   Windows:7
i want to run the game on 1440x900 no AA and low shadows so will i run smoothly?

You shouldn't have any problems with running ME2 on that computer, you will even be able to run it on higher details if you want to.

Given that the screen resolution is relatively coarse, the comparative weakness of that video graphics card isn't going to hinder you too much, but if you push more than a few settings above Medium, you'll start to lose frames, which equates with jerkiness in the animation.

The 9400 GT is only an 8500 GT with a new name, so still not in the Mainline class, still just a borderline zone part, in between Business and Gaming.

Your planned upgrade skips right over the graphics, but a Celeron is a pretty terrible piece of junk, so I suppose you are anxious to get rid of it.  I would wait until the upgrades are complete to play either of the ME games, because ME-1 is actually somewhat harder on the hardware than ME-2. 

You could've combined asking about both games, and said something on the order of just planning the upgrade, and in hopes of running ME-1 on the older CPU / MB.
