Now, I know weapons in ME pretty much work like rail guns (different method, same spirit), but i want a big, nasty rail gun for a heavy weapon in ME3. There are few things i want from me3: story, smooth gameplay, and the satisfaction of destrying a hell of a lot of enemies with a big gun. The closest me2 got to that last one was the cain. but it took too long to find enough ammo for it to be used regularily. If me3 were to have a rail gun, here's what i would like it to be like:

- half damage of cain (so 5,000) in a straight line, no AOE
- if it kills something it keeps going
- needs 100% to fire like cain (but due to half damage that 100 would come twice as fast from power cells)

thoughts?

I agree. I would LOVE a mini-railgun to shoot and destroy things with.

It would have to carry more ammo as well. Cain can get up to a little over 200 with all upgrades, so I'm thinking like 500 for this theoretical gun.

But that is a nice idea but it's unlikely that there will be enough enemies to have two in a direct line.
