 Hey,

I cannot get my DLC to authorize.  I have verified that the code was entered properly and attached to my account.  I verified that my game has been connected to the DA servers.   I tried to locate the DA Updater service through the the 
"services" function and it does not show up on the list.  I also tried to install the DA Updater service through the CMD function following the instructions very carefully.  It didn't work.  I did a search for "installutil.exe" and it is simply not on my pc.  I downloaded a copy of the game from Origins about two weeks ago so I should have the most recent patched version, correct?

Anyways, I am not sure what else do to at this point since I can't get the dragons age updater service working, or even verify if it is on my pc.  I appear to be at a dead end.  I would rather try and do this manually as I hear the new patch slows the game down.

See the solutions round-up thread pinned to the top of this forum for a link to the solution. You can also try the 1.05 beta patch (also linked to the top of this forum) which fixes all known DLC authorization issues but can cause long load times.
