Have fun with your 10 bucks worth of DLC when the rest of the world is collapsing.

Because the economy is doing poorly, you want us to stop buying consumer items? Even though not spending actually makes the economy worse? Brilliant plan genius.

How did the poor economy debacle started? With stupid people who had no idea how to handle money and greedy banks and mega corparation explotion them.

Stupid people forking over 10 dollars for DLC wich is 1/3 the price of ME2 while it's only 1/50 of the content of ME2 to greedy EA/BIOWARE is the same on a much smaller scale.

But HEY it's only 10 dollars. And that other DLC is also only 10 dollars. Oh, and this one is only 15. OOOH that that one is only 10.

That's 45 dollars, more than the original ME2 costs. And it's still more than half the content.

Good job, keep forking over money to them.

This post makes me laugh.

It's like watching someone fall down a flight of stairs.  I really want to burst out laughing, but I'm really worried about serious injury here.

Oh, don't even. As if I decided that instead of helping the government, I wanted to get Arrival.

As if you made a point.

Yeah, what the hell was that? The debt ceiling doesn't even have anything to do with what you spend money on.

If we are worried about where we send our money for the most good....ME DLC is a hell of a lot cheaper than a Porshe', speed boat, latest fashion, make overs, etc...Quibbling over $10 is ridiculous.

I love how some people try to dictate to others how they should spend their money.  I wanted to experience that part of the story (and the gameplay was enjoyable as well)  so I bought arrival.  Does that make me a bad person?

The ME 2 DLC's have nearly doubled the average length of my playthrouhs as compared to how long my playthroughs took when the game first came out. I would say they have been worth it.

Yeah, I bought all the DLC. Yeah, I could have spent it somewhere else. But I didn't. And I will probably end up forking over all mah money over to them for ME3 as well. I ain't ashamed of it.

Not if he spends it in ways I don't like! *growls and starts mumbling something incoherent about bad storytelling*

"zOMG, the Cleanup DLC sucks, it's all Reaper whack-a-mole cover combat! There was no dialogue in the ME-3 epilogue DLC! Wah, after massive global war, I didn't get to form lasting friendships with my crew!!"

Heh... Haha... Hahahaha!

You're grasp on the economy, business, current global issues, and spending habits are hilarious.

I think what I find the most hilarious is that you are saying that by us spending money, we are hurting the economy in any way shape or form. Anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of economics would know that that is plain wrong. Not half-right, or partially true. Just. Plain. Wrong.

Yep, poor Bioware. EA probably doesn't give them enough money to do self-sufficient games. That's why they sell additional content for games that are already filled with a lot of content, like ME2 and DA2.

Define "self-sufficient".

When I but a +/- 60$ game, I dont expect to have to pay more to see what happens next.

By that logic, buying ME1 entitles you to getting ME2 and 3 for free.

And also by the same logic mentioned, the whole Halo series (iincluding the new trilogy coming out and except for ODST and Halo Wars) could be bought for Halo: CE's price back when it first came out.. Which is pretty damn cheap!

On Topic: DLC Arrival is confirmed canon (by sources too many to count) and that ME 3 intro is to start off at the trial based off of the effects that Shepard made in Arrival. Nothing can be done to change that so anybody who disapproves can cry a wide river

Anti-DLC threads are always fun. Not because you can't make an argument against DLC - there certainly are some examples that are true ripoffs - but because the arguments brought up against it are usually very idiotic. Some of my favorites:

-Claiming that all DLC content should have been included in the first place, even when it was clearly made separate.
-Claiming that a few scraps of data on the disk is evidence of some mass conspiracy to remove content for exploitation.
-Claiming that companies only make DLC to make money - as if there are videogame companies out there who spend millions of dollars to make games purely out of the goodness of their own hearts.

By the way.

The above statements are so ignorant they actually made me feel physical pain. Buying DLC is nothing like the events that led to the economic recession.

This.

You know what also can add up to more than the cost of ME2 and ME3? The money I spend on my lunch.

That's twice you have spelled it wrong, I bolded it because you forgot a letter.

Also, I would never pay money for a Porsche.
