Not bad at all, he is quite good. I've seen better personally though. No video of it, I was over a friend's house watching him play. Insanity, as an Adept with Shotguns (Eviscerator) and Stasis for the bonus ability. He was being crazy aggressive too, if they weren't coming for him in that back row, he would move Femshep up to the next row up and shoot from over there. It was ridiculous, considering he had nothing good against shields except the Shotgun Shield Piercing upgrade (and the fact that the Eviscerator does 1.25X bonus damage against protection).

Using the drone purely as a distraction is a smart tactic too btw, that's smooth. Only needed it against the YMIR as well, for the most part. Needs to learn how to aim the abilities a bit better though, several times I noticed they just slapped the shortcut button and didn't have a target, completely wasting the opportunity to do more damage. Holding down the bumper so you can aim your power better isn't necessarily a bad thing lol.

Stasis is an easy bonus power for the battle, though, since you can use it against the YMIR.

Yeah, but it doesn't last that long against it. Especially when you use it twice on him. First time you use it, it'll last about 3 seconds, and it decreases rapidly from there. The bigger/stronger something is, the less time Stasis will hold it.

He was using the Eviscerator, the Phalanx Heavy Pistol, and the Locust SMG.

Honestly, it may sound odd, but the hardest class to do this on Insanity with is the Soldier. Every other class has either some way to protect themselves, distract the enemy, or get out of a tight spot, EXCEPT the Soldier. Adrenaline Rush doesn't give any health regeneration, nor does it distract the enemy, and it doesn't make you zip from Pt. A to Pt. B like the Vanguard does.

Engineer has distractions. Adepts have Singularity (which can destabilize an enemy at the very least). Sentinels have Tech Armor, which is broken for Insanity. Vanguards have charge, which will not only give them a huge shield boost, but it will also move them to a different location if they have too many people around them. And Infiltrators can turn invisible, making every single enemy stop shooting and stand still.

Infiltrator and Engineer are by far the easiest classes to do that part on, no matter the difficulty. Sentinels are just too easy for Insanity anyways, I'm ignoring them for this lol.

The Engineer's Combat Drone is useless during the "Fight for your Life" part. All enemies (except the YMIR) will ignore it.

You can find Tony's vid (from the OP) and many more (covering all classes) in the strategy forum btw.

@ spartacusthegod, the Soldier holds the fastest time atm (on Insanity).

You should watch Tony play Infiltrator. It's even better. :-)

The best Object Rho fights I've seen are these:

(1) Soldier: This guy is like Legion. His Widow hits *exactly* where he thinks, *without* Adrenaline Rush. He killed the Horizon Praetorian in 1 minute without Adrenaline Rush (or Mattock, or Heavy Weapons) too.

(2) Vanguard: Possibly the most naturally gifted Vanguard player I've seen. He's better than even Kronner and Arelex IMO because he can use the Claymore perfectly even *without* Charge.

@Bozorgmehr, I didn't know that. Probably because the Soldier is the only one with Disruptor Ammo, on Insanity that must help a lot. The Engie's combat drone is useful BECAUSE it distracts the YMIR, everything else you don't need it much, and the YMIR dishes the most pain.

Where do you find the times for it? I never knew people posted their best time up online lol. I want to see what I'm up against when I try to toss my Vanguard into there on Insanity for a speedrun.

The Vanguard run was quite impressive, I am hoping to be able to do something like that for my Insanity run. The Soldier though, besides his ridiculous bull**** accuracy with the Widow, I was unimpressed by, I have to say.

Infiltrator has Disruptor ammo too.

Stasis is much more effective at defeating the YMIR. If you take down the rest of the forces, you can shoot/melee the YMIR once it falls after Stasis expires; it won't be able to get back up (melee prevents this.) Add in damage bonuses and it's pretty straightforward, which is why so many people pick Stasis as their bonus power for Arrival.

The Engineer handicapped himself, and still won.
