With the war against the Reapers coming to a climax, much will be going on and much will likely be lost. So I ask, are there any of you who want to leave a few personal words for anyone, a love interest, a friend or family member (for those with a Spacer background?) Perhaps a final handshake with Anderson, a parting joke with Mordin or even one last tender kiss to Ashley before your Shepard goes off to face the final battle?
Perhaps even a brief memoir for anyone who finds Shepard's last thoughts in case all else failed?

Honestly, I just want my Shep to be able to remember all of the people who died for me along the way. And then promise to avenge them and not let their deaths happen in vain.

Well that was the extent of Hawke's speech before initiating the second-to-final level (that crazy lyrium-poisoned dame was the final level).

In all seriousness, if Bioware puts something like that as Shepard's last words ... all I can say is that it will be a royal disappointment.  I guess the Dragon Age 2 team was just in a hurry to push the game out the door and didn't feel giving their speechwriters time to come up with something worthy of the Champion of the galaxy Kirkwall.

As to what I would really want Shepard to say?  Something along the lines of, "Brothers-and-sisters-in-arms, we've come all this way.  We will prevail.  We must prevail.  For the sake of the galaxy.  ...  TO ARMS!  Joker, take us in."  (Okay, so I'm not a speechwriter.)

I think something similar to DA:O would be pretty cool. I mean, he's one of my least liked characters, but when Oghren says his "let's show them our hearts ... then lets show them theirs" thing that just tears me up.

DA2 was just ... Mass Effect: Medieval. Hawke might as well have said "hold the line! need covering fire!".

Ok totally love the DA2 joke as well - and @alex90c - I agree about Oghren!  He was meh in the game (some funny lines here and there) but that little "pep" talk at the gate was fantastic! 

Maybe a note to Cerberus (or the next Cerberus?) on potential upgrades Shep would like for the second build??
