Since I've updated to patch 1.23, I've noticed that some windows in the toolset no longer have vertical scrollbars. Was this an 'improvement' we're stuck with, or is there a way to get them back?

IIRC what this means in practice is that some vertical scrollbars may not show when the width of the pane is insufficient to include them. I think previous versions may have made the scrollbars show no matter how wide the pane was currently set (which is the behavior that makes sense!).
Try dragging the pane in question to be wider (blueprints, for ex) and see if that shows the scrollbar. If this constricts your area/script/convo viewer too much, I believe that the PowerBar has a shortcut for auto-hiding/showing a pane.

Thanks - that worked. I assumed they weren't there at all, since scrolling the horizontal scrollbar right across didn't reveal the vertical scrollbar. It seems the two scroll bars are no longer on speaking terms.

I've also noticed that there are no vertical scrollbars *at all* in the windows on the left-hand side of the toolset (the ones that list what is in the currently open and active area). At least they've given us a way of filtering what we're looking for via name, tag, etc. Otherwise it's a matter of selecting one of the entries and using the middle mouse button to scroll down.

They do have them on the left hand side as well, just sometimes you need to extend the window wayyyy out, like so that it fills up half/most of your screen - further than you have to for the right hand side stuff.

Well to be honest I'm not really sure - but it is something like 12" high 19" wide. I run it at 1920 x 1080.
