What is the crappiest piece of DLC you have ever purchased?

The Battle of Forli (Assassin's Creed 2) - WTH? The whole of AC2 was brilliant but why is this DLC so much crap? Badly designed missions and incredibly short too. I was so dissapointed that I didn't bother buying the next DLC Bonfire of the Vanities. Thank goodness the dev team learned their lesson and produced the excellent The Da Vinci Dissappearance for AC: Brotherhood.

Any story based DLC from DA:O or ME2 in which you cannot play the main PC or cannot use the main companions of the game.
Did you try Darkspawn Chronicles? It was a lot of fun.

I got a lot more playing time out of DA2 (with no DLC) than DA:O (with DLC).
So length = quality to you?
Quality can include a lot of different factors. But entertainment value derived in comparison to the cost is very important. If I'm not enjoying a game I stop playing it.
My post was a response to Johnson's comment that DA2 was really "short" - in my case roughly two playthroughs of DA2 has lasted around 220 hours or so, without any DLC, much longer than DA:O. .

Bought it on a whim without reading the description all that well & was expecting something similar to Bringing Down the Sky

Anyway, I'd say the most disappointing one was Pinnacle Station for ME1. All it gave you was a reason to hate the combat system even more than you already did. Oh, and maybe some Colossus armor if you were patient enough to do the whole thing. I will add though that that was the only DLC I ever purchased without really looking at it closely, and thus it was the only one where I wanted my money back.

I hated it. Also before this DLC was even released someone released a mod that was much better and had more depth on Dragon Age nexus.

DLC in general is a "crappy" idea to me. I don't like the concept of DLC and I long for the days of expansion packs. The days when a bulk of content added to a game with new levels, new items, new characters and whatnot. Any DLC I have to pay for is another waste of my valuable nickles and dimes. But since the gaming realm seems to be heading in this direction with no sure sign of stopping and going back to the way things were, I might as well suck it up.
That's not to say that I don't buy and enjoy certain DLCs (I do). Still, the principle -- or lack thereof -- bothers me.

For Mass Effect 1/2 I bought all the story DLCs and the Kestrel armor pack but that was worth it IMO (just love the game, call me a fanboy
Didn't buy any DLC for any other game ever.
.... Oh, I git all the Oblivion DLCs when buying the Knights of the Nine addon disc. Most of them are pretty horrible but since I bought them cheaply with the rather well don KotN I don't consider them in my list of DLCs.

Ironically, Darkspawn Chronicles was my favourite of the standalones, and the only standalone i didn't hate.
Its combat wasn't boring and tedious like Lelianas song for example, and the location didn't seem like such a blatent re-use like the others (even though it was), because it made more sense in the context. And it was fun playing the Darkspawn and killing off my team. /shrugs

i dont agree, red dead redemption: undead nightmare is a pretty good DLC if you ask meTurnip Root wrote...
I'd say anything that adds any kind of zombie mode. It's tired, trite, it's no longer creative, think of some new ideas already!
