I'd say Miri and Jack are the ones I look forward to seeing again the most for that reason: I want to see what the concept guys came up with.

A less fresh-off-the-lot Grunt is gonna be fun, too.

I would say that Bioware's "artistic vision" in terms of most of the female squadmates needs to grow up.

Precisely why I want to see the new Miri.

why would she get a new one? seems stupid and unnecessary.

but this is tali we're talking about, so random stupid fanservice is a given i guess.

Garrus got a new combat suit. Who says Tali can't get a new enviro-suit?

because garrus was wearing BUSTED combat armor for pretty much all of ME2.

tali has a fully functional enviro suit that she LIVES in. she never had a problem with it, why would she randomly get a new one simply to have a "new look" for her whiney fans?

again, its stupid fanservicey nonsense.

Garrus' was pierced and showed some almighty hole as a reminder of those times in which he got almost killed, I'd buy a new one actually.

@Skullheart: Uh, Walters did mention something about Legion's chesthole being significant or having some actual importance, so I guess he'll keep it.

I think of Miranda as a lesser character.

If they are going to show anyone though I think Jack and Grunt are good canidates, it's been a good bit and they both should have "grown up", Grunt's plate should fill in more stuff like that.

Personal opinions of Miranda aside, I really want to see her redesigned.  Her outfit needs to "grow up," too.

Yeah, that sounded like I was bashing her..didn't mean for it to sound like it,what I meant by growing up though was phsyically growing up in Grunt's case, and growing up as a person in Jack's case, Miranda's outfit is...well ...it is kind of grown up...but most of the characters outfits seemed silly at times.

So there's still no data avaible to reach a consensus to repair its chest?
Shepard should give him an autographed N7 chestplate.

I'm willing to give BW the benefit of the doubt on that one,you don't know if she puts it back in a bun and dons armor in combat, she was wearing the blue outfit in that one video because that was right after the trial.

Eh, they said she'd have armor in combat, and the non-armor isn't exactly a skintight spacekini, so I'll hold in my rage as well as my breath until more information is available.

In other words, it could go either way.

yeah, taking you hair out of a bun is completely the same as getting a new state of the art self sustaining enviroment suit for round the clock wearing. cus you know, a hair tie is EXACTLY the same as a envioment suit that people live in their entire lives.

right?
right?

oh wait...no.

try again.

I think in that reveal trailer it showed him and he had a hole, but it could easily be a placeholder.

I think it's been pretty much confirmed that is her defualt skin (dont hold me to that though) although Bioware have confirmed that she will have her armour and helmet too (I guess as a alternative skin for people who dont like her new one)

I'm willing to bet that swapping out surface accessories such as decorative fabric, buckles, and pouches is about as easy and inexpensive as purchasing a new outfit.

Character you like gets a cool redesign = concept artists are doing a great job to update the look to grow and develop with the characters and universe.

Character you don't like gets a cool redesign = fanservice.

There's a limit to how "grown-up" I really want the game to get tbh. It's a fantasy, it's fan-servicey by nature, and I don't need it to be mature or try really hard to reflect reality.

I have plenty of time to deal with reality and be mature when I'm not playing the game.

"Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."

but see, thats the problem. ashley is a human, we can tell its her if she's wearing a different suit of armor or clothes, or if her hair is different.

garrus has a unique face model, with its own face paint pattern and now his facial scar to make him recognizable in different armors and outfits.

wrex and grunt have unique faces as well that we can look at and know its them.

tali is a quarian, our only way to identify her is her unique suit. if you change that then you literally lose all visual identification of her. hence why changing what she looks like in any significant way is really damaging because if they change her outfit and put her in a scene with other quarians, then well. you have no way of telling which one is her until she says something. thats bad characterization. you need her to keep that unique pattern and purple color. change that and its a bad move.

I know, right? lol. But it sounds good so far, so I'm happy with what Bioware are doing, I wont question what they do with Ash (or any other character) until I get to play the game in six months time. Here's looking forward to it! Image IPB

True.  I still play Pokémon and watch cartoons.  But really, one can be sexy without being trampy.

Also, C.S. Lewis was ruined for me when I found out Asland was Metaphorical Jesus.

Garrus's DLC suit was in mint condition.

It is not a space-bikini (and thank god for that). But it stil looks more like a uniform or casual clothes. I would be alot more  about it if was something she just wore on-board the Normandy. But it is not.

She does have armour as an alternative. But it seems clear that her new outfit is what they want to be her "primary"

I think they just going to wait till people to buy the game before they get mad about the look.

IMO they should show what the race looks like but not her, since it keeps the mystery but for people to speculate.

Just look for the purple one with the unique character model.

It's not that hard.
