How much renegade is required to say "Don't disrespect the dead" to her? Anyone know? I'm over a 5th renegade, but still can't use it :/

The amounts required for charm and intimidate options always vary based on how much has been available throughout the game to that point. Say there was a conversation in which 10 renegade points could be obtained, and you only obtained 2, that actually makes getting the intimidate options harder. If you import an ME1 character it doesn't towards the "availability" so is effectively a huge bonus making most options easy. NG+ or brand new charcaters have to be more dedicated to a specific morality.

I see :/ Well, my current playthrough is a new ME2 character through the Genesis DLC. So even though my imported Shep could do the renegade option here with that much renegade, my Genesis created Shep shouldn't be able to with the same amount - is that what you're saying?
Also, I've gotten to the LOTSB DLC with the Genesis Shep, and despite having 100% paragon, she can't talk down Vasir with the paragon dialogue. What's happened there? Is my game broken?

Are you sure you have absolutely 100% paragon? If you don't have 100%, even if you have 99% or something, there are cases where you still can't use certain paragon options. It has to do with the ratio of times you took paragon/renegade options instead of neutral ones, not always how many points you have.

The only way to know for sure is to open that file in the save editor and look at the P/R scores.

Hmm, okay... For the quicksave just before the confrontation with Vasir, Gibbed says P = 1031 and R = 241.
From the same quicksave, here's a screenshot of the P/R bars, and here's a screenie of the dialogue.

Yeah, that's definitely weird. With 1000+ Paragon, you ought to be able to pass that check no problem. Have you tried increasing it to see if it'll unlock? You could narrow it down to figure out what the game thinks you should have.

Well this is frustrating! It's apparently been reported before with renegade players. Hmm, I wonder if this has anything to do with this Shep being made with Genesis...
