Is this entire download system set up to fail or am I missing something?

I purchased the game online from Amazon, plyed it a while, and then decided to check for downloadable content.

I have done the following:

1) I registered an email
2). I logged in
3). WHILE logged in for both the game and website I used my activation code for the Black Emporium key. Epic fail.
4). I downloaded the patch 1.03, game still runs on 1.00

Nothing here is automatic, is it? I don't see any DLC in the game menu, and I'm told that I already used my key so it is now invalid.

Buggers! I would buy some additional content, but I have zero faith that I would actually get it.

You have to download the DLC from http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php and install it manually.

As for the problem with the patch, I don't exactly know what to do. You can always try to install it again and make sure that you get the following files (you can see them in configuration tab under the game section):

DragonAge2.exe v1.03
DragonAge2Launcher.exe v1.01
DragonAge2Config.exe v1.03
Uninstall Dragon Age 2.exe v1.00

I downloaded some DLC from the official site and then ran the installer. It said finished. I then started up DA2 and started my game. The DLC shows up in the menu but it is not in the game. What am I doing wrong? I don't see it in the journal like it says in the social site and there is nothing in my special deliveries box. Help Please?

Log into this site in the game, because the game must authorize the content. Email and password( without special characters like @!?#}{¥$), entered into online tab of game.

I have the same exact problem with the Legacy DLC. I already paid the 10 dollars for it and downloaded/installed it but it doesn't appear in game. It's not in my http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php either, but it's still on my download manager.

If it isn't in your entitlements then even if you install it, it will not authorize ingame to be used, because the game checks this site before allowing use.  Did you by any chance use another bioware/ea ID to buy the dlc??  Most common issue is having 2 ids and using different one than you think to buy the stuff.  If you don't or if you are 100% sure you bought it with the correct ID and the other doesn't have it or even if it does and you want to change it over, you will have to contact EA.com/Support and I reccomend the live chat option. 

So basically in the end just contact EA.com for support.
