I figure this might be the best place to ask this question considering it pertains to Alistair as an NPC in king imports. I have also looked around and cannot find (easily) the answer to my question. I came across this query while writing my fic, and specifically what Alistair does or says about having an Amell consort. If there is nothing specific in the game then speculation will serve. Also, being that Hawke is related, what would his/her reaction be to their cousin (at least I think they are cousins) being the King of Ferelden's consort.

Alistair makes a generic comment about any Warden consort, which varies slightly based on whether or not Anora is queen (if she isn't, it seems that he never actually marries anyone else. Which just makes my Mahariel facepalm FOREVER. You dink, you're supposed to have some ruddy human spawn to run this kingdom after we're both dead! Immediately after Origins would have been the best time to do it! Argh!)

If you want someone to mention Amell by name, you have to settle for Cullen.

As for what Hawke thinks about an Amell Warden... it depends. By default, I think she'd find it vaguely interesting, but she probably never met her cousin, so isn't too involved in the idea.

In my headcanon however, they're in league to start the mage revolution, and Varric's in on it too: almost everything he told Cassandra was a lie, Hawke has been working with the mage underground from day one, and Amell has Alistair's ear. When the dust clears, Ferelden will be a military superpower, with the largest mage army in Thedas. Ahahaha! Ahahahahahah! Ahahaha!

CGG...thanks. My fic is based on a Cousland, but I have used some of my other wardens to fill in some outlying roles, one of my Amells being one of them that Alistair falls in love with. I know from that run how he feels during Origins, but I never got that save into DA2 to find how he feels about it after the passage of time. I also would like Hawke's reaction because it helps flesh out the characters more if I know all possible aspects of them. (plus a possible future expansion of the meeting which was very limited in the game). Again, thanks for the input as it does help.

The only two who make mention of the Amell Warden specifically that I know of are leandra and Cullen. Since Hawke and the Warden are distant relatives, one who was locked up in a Circle most their lives and the other living on the run as an apostate, or relative of apostates, they unlikely know each other, or have even heard of each other.
