People are allowed to dislike a video game character on an internet forum, no?

People coming in and *rolling their eyes* in displeasure should probably go find a thread they don't find so "ridiculous".

My problem isn't ladyofpayne's disliking Isabela. My problem is her/his opening post, more specifically the words used to get the point across.

I have relatively small boobs but I don't hate Isabela for her ridiculously oversized pair. People have large boobs; it's a fact of life. You just have to get on and deal with it.

Is she a likeable person? Well, that's a different matter altogether.

You throw this word around.  Last I checked wh0res have sex on someoneelse's demand.  Isabela does what she wants when she wants.  If she were a man would you have this same problem with her?

No. Because in DAO I have for my  FPC Alistair and Leliana. Zevran is funny but My Chars nedd something more. Not onle in S\\Sex romance.

So Isabela has a healthy body. Kudos for her - and her desire to acknowledge her own beauty.

Again, you're making assumptions about Cassandra based on one outfit she is in. What if...shock of shocks!...she appears in DA3 in something lowcut? Will she then be villified as well?

Characters are much more than their outfits/armor/boob size.

I already understand that you don't like Cassandra because she don't show you her boobs and ass. :DCassandra is a normal woman don't sleep with everyone.

Cassandra wears Seeker armor, because she is a Seeker.  Perhaps she wears low cut tops with no pants on her off hours, and sleeps with everyone who comes her way.  You cannot possibly know these things about her yet, based on the little we saw in DA2.

Somehow you were able to see beyond Anders' promiscuous past, and the superficial label of "whiny" that many people put on his DA2 characterization, in order to see more depth, why are you so unwilling to see more when it comes to Isabela?  Or do you even understand Anders' character has probably slept with just as many, if not more people as Isabela?  Why is he worthy of your Hawke, but she gets called names?

I can see not liking a character, but sl*t-shaming?

How very sad that this is what you think makes for a convincing argument, or that you believe such a cursory (and vulgar) dismissal of a character would make us want to provide you with one more suited to your tastes. *shrug*

...I don't see the problem here, as a reaction to the quote you used in your post. If anything, it only strengthens PuppyFlavour's statement.

Your FemHawkes go for Anders/Fenris, your ManHawkes go for Anders/Fenris. Don't recruit Isabela, and tadaa! You've got your very own solution.

Good. So I must create in DA 3 all my MPC gays because women will be like her and their whor*sed persons will made me ill?

...Wait, what? Where do you see me saying that?

@OP - You're making more assumptions. I never said that I didn't like Cassandra. I'm not sure how you read that from what I wrote. And my love of a character is not relegated to their appearance, just so you know.

I was pointing out to you that you don't know who Cassandra is, what she is like, how she dresses beyond her Seeker armor, etc. None of us do because she appears only in cut scenes. So to refer to her as "normal" is really an assumption, and an opinion. For all we know, her personality is just like Isabela's. It's too early to say.

Again, it's your perogative to like or dislike any character but if you're going to cite why you don't like someone, I would hope that you could substantiate your points with more than just name-calling.

I just want to get in party different characters from her for my MPC and not naive girl like Merril. Your Aribeth from NWN was amazing.<3If woman like her was in DA 2 for LI Isabela don't irritate me so much. But many of my chars was forced to become a gays because in DA 2 There is no normal women, only stupid girl and too vulgar and to obsess Isabela. Aveline was good, but she is not Li and My MHawke became alone and sad.

I want her in DA3 more than Hawke, Merrill, Anders, Fenris, Aveline and Sebastion.
As others have said if don't like her don't use her, I didn't like Hawke, Merrill or Anders even Fenris etc but I wasn't given a choice to cut them from the game then so I don't see any reason why you should get it now.

The End.

A shirtless Fenris and Anders scene would have avoided all this. See? Image IPB

Wow, this thread is problematic on so many levels.

I hope Cassandra is a total free spirit and makes Isabela look like a nun on her off hours, now. That would please me.

Wow. First sl*t-shaming and now brown-nosing. That was a real quick 180, OP.

Uh why? The only thing I don't like about Isabela is that Hawke has to share her with girls who like girls. But that's okay because knowing Isabela that could possibly lead to entertaining nights at the Hawke Estate and the Blooming Rose :).

You've missed my point.

Zevran is no less a sexual libertine than Isabela.  And yet, you're not calling him a wh0re and any other derogatory names are you?

Your assumptions and narrow assessments of characters speak more about you than anything you've said about them so far.

Reminds me a bit of all the rage flying around when blonde FemShep was revealed in the polls.
"OHMYGOD A BLONDE SHEPARD!? SHEP AIN'T NO BIMBO!"

"OHMYGOD A BIGGER-THAN-AVERAGE-CUPSIZE!? SHE MUST BE A ****!"

*laughs at naledgeborn* that's funny seriously it is. Isabela is bisexual she has always been that way. as for your Hawke, depending on gender and personal tastes they could be bi/lesbian/gay depending on gender. But that's an interesting point you bring up.

I know that, on occasion, some of us have complained about unrealistically giant boobs, but now I actually hope every female PC has Isabela's clothes and outfit just because.

Who cares how sexually active she is. She is still crap. As is Fenris. And Zevran.

Well if your a female, I'm a guy and you just turned me gay to spite you...

Sorry comes across as mean but your hardly being nice in most of things said in this thread. Instead of slagging off a character fair amount of people liked and wanting to cut her from future games, you should of simply just created a thread like "I wish could of had Aveline as LI instead".

P.s. You didn't really turn me gay...
