I bought the Collector's Edition of DA Origins when it was released and playing through the game as we speak. I want to play the DLC aswell and I saw that buying the Ultimate Edition is cheaper than purchasing all the seperate DLC.

Is it possible to install the DLC of the Ultimate Edition alongside my already installed Collector's Edition? And can I just continue playing my current character in the Ultimate Edition DLC?

For the most part, you can install the UE right over top of your current version in the same location on your drive. That'll ensure the DLC is installed and you can use your current saves, too.

I'd recommend taking a look at the tech support forum to see what sorts of issues people encounter, if any, just to be prepared. There might be some things you can do in advance in order to avoid an issue.
